Unique retreat for mind and soul

Willka Tika is a very special, magical place that enchants you. The retreat is a unique program based on the Inca culture, integrating the ancient ceremonies throughout the week. Willka Tika is wellness for mind and soul, whatever you come here, you go out positively changed, strengthened and resting within yourself. It is not a wellness retreat in the classic sense. You can experience the luxury in yourself if you come with the right attitude and get involved. The program is professionally set up and run and you can clearly see that Willka Tika has been dealing with the topic for 30 years now. Many of the ceremonies are led by an excellent shaman (samer) as well as other Indigenous Incas. This is not about something looking good or being perfect. Everything is deeply authentic, that's what makes it so enchanting. The unique garden with a variety of medicinal herbs is another centerpiece. The entire staff is like a big family - as part of this you feel at the end of the retreat. 100% recommended. Life changing. Inspiring. Peaceful. #wannacomebacksoon

Hawaiian woman visits Urubamba

I walked into a welcoming and beautiful setting behind the Willka Tika gate and was graciously greeted by the staff. My room was lucious and the gardens serene and healing. I enjoyed great vegetarian food, hikes to ruins and i. forests, followed by in house spa treatments. Very comfortable for a female traveling alone. I plan to return soon!

You never want to find a scorpion over your bed.

Went with our daughter and her husband. The grounds are beautiful. We found the food OK, tasty and wholesome but not exceptional. However, my daughter was surprised that in her room when she arrived several windows were open. This meant that there were a *lot* of insects in the room -- various crawly things and large spiders. They of course closed the windows and disposed of the bugs they could find. After dinner when they were going to bed, they found a large scorpion above one of the beds. At that point, they asked for another room, where they found a lot more insects. Not a good night's sleep. My wife and I had no similar issues in our room. The staff were helpful and prompt about the change in room.

We're glad the grounds gave you the beauty and peace they're meant to. We're sincerely sorry your daughter's evening started with an open-window welcome party of the eight-legged variety — that's not the arrival experience we aim for, and a scorpion over the bed is a completely fair thing to be unhappy about. We're glad our team moved quickly on the room change, and housekeeping will make sure that windows are checked and closed in the afternoon before check-in. Thank you for the honest feedback on the food as well — "tasty and wholesome" is a good foundation, and we're always working to make it more memorable.

Magical and majestic!

I can’t recommend Willka T’ika highly enough for the kind of experience that is restful, regenerative, and expansive. Their 7-day retreat is a magical dive into yourself, your connection to the earth, and the majestic mountains and culture of this sacred place. Food is delicious, the staff is welcoming, and the rooms are beautiful. It’s perfect for couples, teams, or solo travelers. You will get more than you pay for!
