Fantastic location travling with 4 kids

Fantastic location and Friendly hosts. We booked last minute so the cabin was a cheap last available and we got what we paid for. The grounds had a bit of everything and I saw they had several larger more modern cabins too. The beach was just beautiful and it seamed everyone that lived in the grounds were friendly and smiling. The restaurant in summer season sold affordable and good food, and it was nice to pop up there and order food and the kids could play just outside the restaurant on the playground. The only minus was really that showers had to be paid for, if you have to use the facilities. In top season there are too few showers for everyone and we had to pay 10kr per 5 min cold shower, and you need coins, this part of the facility would be better upgraded to included in a slightly raised price or at least a system you can use a card of phone.

not tent-friendly

Camping on a beautiful location, but completely crammed with campers and caravans. A field directly next to the reception had some space for tents, but would we please place the tent as close as possible to the road and the caravan already there. Sardines in a can.

Bikers

11 bikers made night stop here on our way from Sweden-Trondheim-Kristiansund (Atlantic ocean road).
2 spacious modern and fully equipped "cabins" was well over our expectations. Big balcony with a great view over the fjord. A big nice flat TV was great for us connecting our GoPros and preview our ride.
1 BR with 2 great single beds 1 BR with a double+single bunk bed, not so good. 3 snoring bikers that moved around made the whole thing move maybe great for kids though. We made booking through bookings.com and expected 6 beds. But for our 11th brother there was only the sofa left, and not the kind that you flip up to a bed :( So 6 fullgrown was abit over the top here but for a family, awesome!
We also enjoyed a bikerdinner at the camping, getting burgers and beer swiftly served

Beautiful and worth the money

Great place in a very relaxing areas with super kind staff. We had one of the bigger cabins and it was modern and a lovely place. The area was very nice as well and the beach was clean and proper. The only 'negative' thing is the WiFi reception and that it was not properly cleaned. We were also expecting a place to eat there, but it was closed permanently the day before we came. It's not to far from the city and I'd choose this place over a hotel any day.

Great campsite

We stayed here for a weekend, a family of 3 plus a dog. We rented a cottage with 1 bedroom. The cabin was very nice. Cozy and clean. With cooking facilities, private bathroom with toilet and shower. We had everything we needed. The mattresses were of a poor quality, but similar beds as other campgrounds.
Parking right outside the cabin.
Beautiful surroundings, with a great beach.
We did not used the sanitary facilities, so can not say anything about this.
