Relaxing stay at beginning and end of round trip

We started and ended our 2-week Namibia round trip at scenic Onjala Lodge, and it was both the perfect relaxing start and end. I absolutely recommend a massage in their Spa.

Rustic luxury in nature preserve

We enjoyed time at Onjala at the end of two weeks in Namibia. Onjala features a perfect combination of rustic charm, luxury, comfort, and the best of Namibia's natural beauty. The late afternoon game drive was perfect for us and gave us a real look at a lot of game animals without doing a full-on safari. The staff is welcoming and knowledgeable. The pools are refreshing in the heat. The spa is an added plus.

Honeymoonweekend

We really loved our stay. Everyone on the team was so friendly and attentive. The bungalows are beautifully decorated, and the view across the open landscape is just stunning. Absolutely lovely.
When I booked, I mentioned that we were celebrating our honeymoon weekend, and at dinner we were surprised with a beautifully prepared table and a bottle of your own champagne – such a wonderful gesture that made us incredibly happy. The food is fantastic, and the spa area is definitely worth a visit as well.

Nice lodge with very good food

Onglaze Lodge is set in nice scenery (especially when it is as green as it is at the moment). We did some walks on our own. The staff is friendly and welcoming throughout. The rooms (Bungalow standard) and some areas of the main house could definitely get an upgrade. The dinner as well as breakfast were far above standard and probably one of the best of any Namibian lodge. We disliked that the restaurant is solely inside and would have preferred an outside seating option. The bar is too small and dark and more like a pub. Overall, it was a very good experience and we would definitely come back!

Wonderful lodge

We had a wonderful stay at Onjala lodge (the owner also has a great hand for details). The hospitality of the stuff was extraordinary. Our newly built bungalow was awesome (including a great view), and the food was delicious. Unfortunately we arrived too late for the game drive, but for sure we plan to come back :-)
