La Mision Made Us Fall in Love with Loreto
We stayed at La Misión for the first time earlier this July, we felt welcomed right away, we arrived early because our flight schedule and we got an early check-in.
Our room was spacious, comfortable, and had fantastic views. Throughout our stay, every member of the staff was warm, accommodating, and eager to help. They made arrangement for us when we needed to rent a car for the day and the process was seamless; they also arranged a taxi for dinner outside of town and coordinated our ride back to the airport.
Our first meal at the hotel’s restaurant was the perfect way to start our Loreto vacation with the most amazing view, ceviche and micheladas!
What we loved most about La Misión is that it feels local. It’s not a large resort, but it delivers first-class service and genuine hospitality. The location is ideal—just a five-minute walk to the historic center, where we enjoyed visiting the mission church and plaza, watching locals gather, exploring charming restaurants and shops, and strolling along the Malecón while taking in the beautiful ocean views.
La Misión played a big part in making us fall in love with Loreto. We can’t wait to come back!

Couldn’t have had a better stay! The food, staff and property is 5 Star. I don’t typically right a review anywhere but, I felt compelled to write this one. Love this place and will return.

Super friendly and attentive staff. Pool area is great with a nice bar area where they cook fresh pizzas, but of course, you can sample the local favorites such as ceviche and fish tacos, which I would recommend. Rooms were super clean and spacious. Maid comes everyday which is apparently a luxury in the U.S. now. Big balconies for morning coffee and the beautiful view. Honestly, I don’t think the pictures of the place do it justice.

Wonderful resort, close to everything!
We had a wonderful, relaxing time celebrating our anniversary and visiting Loreto.
The hotel was everything we wanted. Walking distance ( 5-10 ) minutes to town, relaxing pool and great restaurant.
We took a boat tour to Coronado island and the marina is also minutes away.
Our room was spotless ( as was the rest of the resort ) and comfortable. Great bed and pillows. We met some great people, had delicious food.. all in all could not have shed for more.

Great hotel
The hotel is great, location, pool, food, bar and view. My only issue was I paid while booking for airport transportation and emailed the appropriate email address my details. The person responding did not seem to speak English and suggested I book transportation. I explained again I had already booked and paid for transportation and then never heard back. Before flying south I called the hotel and explained what happened and was told no problem we will pick you up. When I arrived there was no one there. I took a taxi to hotel and hotel paid since I had already paid them. The day before leaving I reminded concierge I needed ride to airport and that I had paid upon booking. I took their ride to airport and then driver said I needed to pay for ride. We had to call hotel to confirm that driver should not be billing me.
