Catastrophic
Very bad experience.
I am extremely disappointed by the welcome received at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted in an unpleasant and disrespectful manner. The receptionist present during the day was particularly aggressive in her way of speaking to us and even started yelling at us for no valid reason.
Such unprofessional reception is unacceptable in an establishment that is supposed to welcome clients with courtesy and respect. This attitude greatly degraded our stay and left a very bad impression.
I recommend that management take measures to ensure that this type of behavior does not happen again. The reception is the first impression of a hotel, and in our case, it was catastrophic.

Disaster at the reception level.
I stayed for 7 days in this establishment and, unfortunately, my experience went very poorly.
Nora and Ikram, at the reception, were particularly unpleasant: lack of politeness, inappropriate behavior towards us, and no friendliness or smiles. Nora was aggressive and disrespectful.
On the other hand, I want to congratulate the housekeepers, who were exceptional, professional, and very caring throughout the stay.
Regarding the servers, I found them to be unfriendly and quite haughty.

Disappointing experience despite the hotel’s potential
Unfortunately, my stay at the Ibis Meknes fell short of expectations for this type of property.
Several points deserve special attention: problem of water leakage during the night, malfunction of the shower door, perfectible cleanliness with presence of dust and some details about bedding that should be better controlled.
Reception and organisation can also be improved. After the check-in, the towels were handed over to me in the hallway, and despite a request for a cot made in advance, no solution was offered.
At breakfast, some products were already unavailable early enough, giving the impression of lack of follow-up service.
The property has good potential and a team that can certainly do better, but more rigorous attention to maintenance, cleanliness and customer care would be appreciated.
Given the price charged, I expected a more comfortable and organized experience.

In the centre of Meknes
I stayed for a weekend whilst taking a short break from business in Morocco (Meknes, Volubilis and Moulay Idriss are well worth a visit if you have an interest in history). The Ibis is very well located with the old town just across the river, and the new town a short walk up the hill. The hotel has a large (free) carpark. Check-in was fast. My room was compact, basic and clean, exactly as you’d expect from an Ibis. Good Wi-fi and internet, power sockets not too far from the bed, shower with plenty of hot water. The room was nice and quiet for the city centre location.
Breakfast was simple but with good quality, if you ate outside by the pool, you were carefully supervised by some very polite cats! The hotel's facilities consisted of a small but pleasant pool, small bar and restaurant, although plenty of other food options are available in the area (from McDonalds to fine dining). For the price I would recommend the Ibis when visiting Meknes.
Breakfast was simple but with good quality, if you ate outside by the pool, you were carefully supervised by some very polite cats! The hotel's facilities consisted of a small but pleasant pool, small bar and restaurant, although plenty of other food options are available in the area (from McDonalds to fine dining).
