amazing stay
stayed at the old windmill as a family for 2 weeks with my parents. genuinely nothing bad to say about this hotel, little gem situated on a main road which can get noisy at times but nothing bad. the rooms were basic but very clean and comfortable we had room 206, up the spirally stairs at the side of the bar, the balcony was massive, the room was a great size and plenty of storage space.
The food was gorgeous, small english breakfast €7.50, loads of different foods, the gyros pita wrap €4.50 which was gorgeous! soft drinks and alcoholic drinks all at a reasonable price also.
the pool area was nice, lots of loungers free and the pool was clean.
the staff were lovely, irene and jordan and the 2 george’s all made you feel very welcome during our stay. we paid €70 a week for aircon which was a god send in the heat!
a bus stop 2 minute walk to the right of the hotel towards lindos and rhodes town which is handy and more stops about a 10 minute walk to the left down the road for lindos and rhodes also.
the hotel is in walking distance to the bars, about 15-20 minute walk to the strip and 10 minutes to a few bars, alabamas, mikes bar.
nothing bad to say about this hotel at all! we had a great stay and will definitely be returning next year!
would definitely recommend for a relaxing holiday with friends or family.

A True Home from Home – 7 Magical Summers at The Old Windmill!
This summer marked our seventh incredible year staying at The Old Windmill in Faliraki, and it still feels just like coming home.
Irene and her beautiful family work tirelessly to make every guest feel welcome. Their genuine Greek hospitality shines through in absolutely everything they do!The apartments are spacious, beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean, surrounded by lovely gardens and olive groves. But the food is on another level! The fillet steak here is hands down the best I have ever had—packed with flavor and cooked to absolute perfection. Every single meal is highly recommended.You cannot miss their Greek BBQ night! It is a must-join event if you want to experience the true spirit of Rhodes. Get some cold beers down you, hit the floor, and dance the night away! Thank you to this wonderful family for another unforgettable stay.

Great stay at Oldwind mill
Great 2 weeks stay at Old windmill.
Arrived in the afternoon, and was met with Irene, lovely lady, very welcoming to the start of our 2 week stay.
The rooms are basic but very comfortable and spacious.
Food is great and the drinks are great too.
It is situated on a main road but we did not have any issues with this at all.
The pool side is a great size and has plenty of sun loungers around.
About a 15 minute walk to bar street but a 5 minute walk to other bars like Alabama, Mike's bar.
Nothing bad to say about this hotel and our stay.
Air con was a god send and it was 70 euros per week.
Would definitely stay here again. Lovely place and great staff. Irene, Jordan and the 2 George's

Just the best! We loved it :-))
Just returned home from a 9 night stay at the Old Windmill Studios. This place is an absolute hidden gem! Our party of 4 could not fault this place at all. Irene, Jord, and the two Georges went above and beyond for us and were so polite and helpful. Honestly, it was like home from home and they treated us like family. Irene is an amazing cook! We ate there almost all the time and only went out once or twice. The food at the Old Windmill is very reasonably priced and is so much cheaper when compared to other eating establishments located nearer to the beach. The Greek BBQ night was just the best! Lots of good food, music, dancing and sangria for only 20 euros.
Rooms are basic but clean. Maids came every other day to leave clean towels and change the sheets. The studios are located on a busy road but this never bothered us. The pool area is clean and tidy and music is played throughout the day and there were always ample beds at the pool for sunbathing. We found that there was no hot water first thing in the morning. However, as the sun warmed up the solar heaters, hot water was made available later in the day.
It takes about 20 mins to walk to the beach and approx 10 mins walk to the nearest super market. The buses are frequent to Rhodes Old Town and Lindos is definitely worth a visit.
Would we stay here again? Absolutely 100%! Old Windmill.. we totally loved you! But…Irene..we loved you more!

Fantastic place to stay! 10/10
What a fantastic two weeks we have had at Old Windmill Studios. Irene, Jord, George and George are fantastic hosts. We ate at the hotel most nights because Irene caters to your every need. The rooms (205 and 210) were spacious, clean and perfect for us! They were cleaned every other day (fresh bedding and towels). Whist at Old Windmill we were treated more like family than guests. Irene and family were amazing with my children and in return we treated them the same. We are incredibly sad to be going home!! Thank you again for everything you have done for us the past two weeks. We will never forget your kindness!!!
