This small complex is situated 23 km from the capital of Ios, Chora, in the small village of Maganari, which boasts four of the most beautiful, white sandy beaches in the Aegean, each lying next to each other and dotted with tavernas, restaurants and cafes. The island offers a wide variety of places to explore like an abundance of pretty, whitewashed churches, with their characteristic blue cupolas, typical windmills, the Amphitheatre Odysseas Elytis, Homers Tomb and a pre-historic settlement at Skarkos, all worth visiting.
