Wild is addictive

A wonderfully located well run camp. The tents are located in the middle of nature, regular animal sightings directly from the bed. That
excellent food the warm people and the wonderful service make your stay an unforgettable experience.

Perfect family safari

We were on safari for the first time and the Saruni game not only met our expectations but exceeded them.
The camp is very private with perfect service that leaves nothing to be desired.
On game drives in the areas like mara Nord or the private conservatories you can see everything about animals and the guides have a lot of information about it.
Can highly recommend the system of Saruni Basecamp for those who are looking for safari away from mass tourism in the state areas and want to support the local communities.

Masai Mara Safari at Saruni Wild

We had the quintessential safari experience at Saruni Wild. The accommodations were glamping tents, elegant and comfortable and at the same time you are literally surrounded by wild animals at times. The staff is very attentive and walks you to and from your tent. We saw elephants out our window but never did we feel unsafe. The staff is friendly and were very fun and competitive when we challenged them to a volleyball game.
Kampala was our driver on game drives for our entire trip and he was definitely the highlight for us, we loved him! He was extremely knowledgeable about every animal, there was not a question we asked that he could not answer. We had a bush breakfast with him, a night drive and a walking safari in addition to the regular game drives and it was those times talking with Kampala and getting to know him that were most enjoyable! He’s also a great volleyball player! He is excellent at what he does! We hope to be back!

Book your stay!

I've been in aot of places in the world, but nothing compares to Saruni Wild Basecamp. It was such a special stay. The service is impeccable, you get your own safari car and guide who is very experienced and can tell you everything about the animals you'll see during the game drives. I even got a massage and spent the evenings talking to the staff at the bonfire. It was magical. Don't hesitate, just book your stay with them. You won't regret it, I promise.

VERY PRIVATE CAMP AND GAME DRIVE

What a beautiful experience!! Incredible!! Luckly I have done quite a lot of safaris and this place really surprised us. The service was over the moon, the camp is gorgeous and the feeling of intimicy is awesome. Different meals in different locations, the professionalism of all the staff, the quality of the meals, the level of the attention to details, out of the expected! The extra point of the place is the North Conservancy game drive, we only crossed with 2 more vehicles, it´s a private game drive!! Absolutely recommendable!!

That sense of intimacy, of having the wilderness almost entirely to yourselves, is at the heart of everything we've built here. The North Conservancy is something rather special, and there's nothing quite like a game drive where the only company is the wildlife itself.
We're so glad the details, the meals in different settings and the attentiveness of the team, all came together to create something beyond expectation. We hope we get to surprise you all over again on your next visit.
