Great location and dangerously good breakfast

An easy few minute walk to the ski bus and regional bus stop, Alpbach Ski School office and the rest of the village. A traditional building style with well appointed rooms with separate toilet and separate bathroom. Tea/coffee facilities in your room, along with some fresh fruit and chocolates.
Be warned you need strong "won't power" with the breakfast. Lots of different types of fresh rolls, cold cuts, cheeses, cereals, made while you're there fresh fruit salad, and more clothes threatening fare. Then there's the afternoon treat when you return of a baked that morning cake.
Big wardrobes for packing away, plenty of hooks for jackets/ski gear and bedside cabinets, TV cupboards as well. Small table and chairs in each room and its own balcony.
Did I mention the breakfast!

A home away from home!

This was absolutely the best bed&breakfast I have every stayed
It has that cute Austrian cosyness to it and the hostess, Frau Kostzener, is just marvellous!
She really goes out of her way to make everything as good and comfortable for you as possible.
Especially at breakfast. There are freshly baked buns, eggs, different yoghurts..even Actimel! And she makes a fresh fruit salad every days with banana's, strawberry's, kiwi's.....yummie!! We had such a good start for our day out in the snow every morning!
The room was also nice. Very clean and cosy and with a big balcony that overlooked the snowy mountains.
Haus Postfeld is a 5 minute walk from the skibusstop, which is very convenient
Also a 5 minute walk to Alpbach center with all the restaurants. Walk is partly uphill though so be prepared for that.
Alpbach itself is a lovely little village.

Besser als im 5 Sterne Hotel

Ich war schon mehrmals im Haus Postfeld. Die Inhaber sind sehr herzlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen, die Zimmer werden täglich Tipp Top gereinigt. Jeden Tag bekommt man Wasser, Obst und eine kleine Süßigkeit auf Zimmer gelegt. Der Ausblick aus den Zimmerfenster ist atemberaubend da man die Alpbacher Bergwelt schön sieht. Hier kann man sprichwörtlich sagen, man kommt als Gast und geht als Freund. Besser gehts nicht.

Super!

Nettes Bed&Breakfast mit fünf Zimmern. Die Zimmer sind ansprechend groß und haben auch ein ausreichend großes Badezimmer und ein separates WC.
Von unserem Balkon hatten wir einen tollen Blick über das Tal und auf die Berge.
Alles war sauber und die Dame des Hauses war sehr freundlich und bemüht es einem so angenehm wie möglich zu machen.
Beim Frühstück gab es alles, was das Herz begehrt, inklusive frisch gemachtem Obstsalat, Butter von der Alm, frisch zubereitetem Frühstücksei, ...
Wer sich hier nicht wohl fühlt ist selbst schuld :)

Pension très agréable

Pension bien située, hôtesse sympathique... Les chambres sont bien aménagées et propres. Nous avions un immense balcon avec fauteuils, banc, petite table et transats. Dommage que nous n'ayons pu y rester qu'une journée et une nuit. Le petit déjeuner est parfait, servi dans une petite salle à manger-cuisine toute habillée de bois, comme les chambres d'ailleurs. Assurément une adresse à recommander !
