Situated within 4.4 km of Ferrara Cathedral and 4.5 km of Diamanti Palace, MAWA provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Ferrara. The property has inner courtyard and quiet street views, and is 5.9 km from Ferrara Train Station.

Comfortable stay in a B&B with plenty of attention from the hosts.
I must say that before the Mawa, I used other establishments in Ferrara and did not feel comfortable. Here, however, I received pleasant attention from Mrs. Cinzia, who was not only kind but also very accommodating for any needs.
The room I used (Room No. 1) is on the ground floor. Extremely comfortable and with an immense bathroom, equipped with a walk-in shower and very pleasant bath products. Fresh and top-quality linens. The breakfast is nothing short of extravagant and ranges from sweet to savory with hot and cold beverages of every kind. The pastries are homemade, and for this reason, they have the taste of authenticity that is not easy to find in many high-traffic establishments. Internal parking with an automatic gate, minibar with water and drinks, air conditioning also for heating, and what more could one want?
The bus stop that goes to the center of Ferrara is just a few meters from the establishment, so to visit a city that can be comfortably walked around, not being very large and having points of interest very close to each other, allows one not to use a car for local movements.
The price is absolutely appropriate for the establishment, if not lower than what one would expect.
Some have found that the location, facing a busy street at certain hours, is not very comfortable. Personally, I must say that I slept very well, that I heard cars passing by in the early hours of the morning, probably commuters going to the city center, but shortly after I peacefully fell back asleep. I definitely recommend this establishment to anyone who needs to spend a few days in Ferrara.

IF WE ARE IN THE AREA AGAIN WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK TO STAY BY MAWA
Cinzia and Stefano are great hosts who make you feel really in a "family" environment. Rooms spotless and kept impeccably.
An impeccable breakfast- they manage to meet all your requests with well-made raw materials -.
We have never encountered a structure that displays a list of places to visit and where to eat meals.
But the friendliness, the smile and their punctual presence - however discreet - are their strength of a B & B to suggest to those who must stay in the Ferrara area.
