A warm Irish welcome in beautiful County Clare

I had a fabulous time staying at Sheedy’s in July. It is absolutely one of the best B&Bs I have stayed in & can’t recommend it highly enough. The breakfasts are just amazing, so much choice with daily specials on offer too. My room was so peaceful with a beautiful view towards the sea. Everything in the room was so comfy and spotless. Each day a fresh bottle of cold water was left in the room alongside the tea, coffe & biscuits. Both Marian & Frank are such welcoming hosts too with help from Bertie the dog too. Thank you both for a wonderful stay and introduction to County Clare. I will definitely book Sheedy’s again if I return to Doolin.

Perfect stay, exceptional breakfast

We had an amazing stay. Marian is a gem, the location is great, you can walk everywhere (including to the Cliffs of Moher, which is a hike). The rooms are generous, clean, miss no amenity, and the beds were the most comfortable we had on our trip (perhaps all of our trips). But even if I can't say enough good things about these mattresses, the highlight was the breakfast. Just incredible. None of the other places we stayed at (which included famed castle hotels) came close to the cooked breakfasts we had there. Taste, creativity and presentation were absolute gourmet level. The continental buffet was amazing, too. I'm stopping here because I'm getting hungry, but recommend the place 15/10 and hope to visit again soon.

FIVE STARS FOR SHEEDY!!!!

WHAT A GREAT SPOT!!!! We all had cozy, modern rooms. The breakfast was probably the best breakfast in Ireland!!!! Frank and Marion… well they are the cherry on top. So warm and lovely. When I come back to Doolin, you can bet we will be staying at Sheedy’s!!

Still crying tears of happiness over this B&B. 100% recommend staying here

An amazing place to stay if you get the chance. I cried I was so happy. Comfortable bed, spacious room, amazing food and lovely company. Well within walking distance to town and just a bit further to the ferry. Thank you Marian for making my trip memorable! Thank you Frank for making/creating amazing breakfast dishes I'm still reminiscing! (I miss you Bertie!!)

Perfect B&B to hike the Cliffs of Moher

Fantastic B&B for exploring the Cliffs of Moher. After flying into Dublin, we immediately drove to this beautiful B&B in Doolin, and the stay was perfect. Marian is a gracious hostess, and Bertie was the perfect greeter. Such convenient access to hike the Cliffs of Moher! Walked out of the hotel, turned right, walked to the end of the road, and had the most amazing late afternoon/early evening out-and-back hike: about 7 miles total after turning around at the point where the trail became closed. My son and I treasured that hike much more than when we drove to the official visitor's center the next day to see O'Brien's Tower. Marian made our dinner reservation at McDermott's Pub which I highly recommend as well. The morning's hot breakfast was my favorite of our entire trip. Delicious!! Wish we could have stayed more than one night. What a wonderful place! Highly recommend and would book again.
