New Year's Eve at the GOA.
The hotel chef is the best. Frying us fish and cooking us other dishes. It's not expensive at all.
New Year's Eve spent on the beach, standing in the ocean with a bottle of Wash in hand))
I loved it, India struck me in the heart again.

Hotel Lottery
Dropped in pretty quick. From the point of disembarkation from the bus we were picked up by the hotel transfer, as the tour operator bus cannot get there. Although we were the first of the three couples to arrive at the reception, we were the last to put us up, but it was still before 2:00 p.m.
Tired after the night flight and not very sensible, we took the keys and went to check into the cottage (No. 3). And that's where the fun began: our cabin had nothing but a bed and a table. There was no kettle and no fridge, no TV and no safe, no chair, no mirror. There was no switch from the fan either, from which it could be either at maximum or not at all. On top of all that, the door opened not just with effort, but with maximum shoulder thump, like in American action movies when breaking into apartments, with the appropriate sound that woke everyone around.
I write a review a month later specifically to reduce emotion. So I will not detail our suffering and anguish, or the efforts of both our and the tour operator, to move to another room, I will briefly tell you. Spoiler alert: We've never been relocated.
For 3 days we listened to promises about "no rooms yet", "in an hour we will leave, we will settle", "after 3", "tomorrow 100% and there will be dinner as an apology", saw tourists leaving and checking in, but nothing changed for us. Except that on the first day they brought us a fridge... that didn't work )))
The tour operator called and came, but it was nothing. As our guide explained to us, the hotel is not bad, but a very bad owner who, despite the reservations, houses the locals and everything else just ignores. As a result, even the tour operator said they stopped working with them.
It wasn't even the nerves, though they too, that were the most pathetic, but the lost three days of rest, as, due to constant false promises, we hung out for hours until 3 p.m. every day at the reception instead of enjoying the sea and Goa. As a result, we still knocked out a working refrigerator (I suspect someone did not find it when checking in), a broken mirror and a fan switch handle (otherwise it was impossible to sleep: either stuffy or cold, and the air conditioner blew directly on the bed and at night you will not turn it on). For that, thank you very much to Sandy, the only employee at the hotel who seemed genuinely concerned about us! For the rest, we waved and started enjoying the rest.
For the sake of objectivity, not all rooms are like this. According to holidaymakers, there were also quite decent, almost fully staffed. Mostly in rooms located in a stone building. In the cabins, one thing was missing: some had a fridge, some had a TV, some had a mirror. We just had a combo ))
In general, surprisingly, it turned out that the cheaper rooms in the building were better and more comfortable than the more expensive cottages. Take into account when booking ;)
In addition, because of the cracks in the boards in the cabin, the local fauna lived anyway, the fumigator didn't help. Several times ants and decent cockroach sizes were shaken off the bed. And on the very last evening, while collecting suitcases in the bathroom, a kitten-sized rat came out from under the sink. It's a good thing we only saw it just before we left!
The hotel's huge plus is its location! To the sea without exaggeration 20 meters along the path past the Rainbow checker.
Breakfasts for India are standard: omelet or glaze, butter and jam toast, plate of watermelon, tea/coffee. Very delicious masala tea! There's no clear mealtime. They said breakfasts were till 10, but sometimes we'd come up to 11 for tea, and still feed) If necessary, we could cut the fruit you bought.
The pool is small with different depths in different parts. Sometimes it's been cleaned, but it could do with more.
The area itself is pretty, green, but the tiles on the paths are broken.
Given the location and concept of the cottages, it would make a great hotel! A little more care for him and the tourists, add to the cafe at the hotel at least selling drinks, which in the heat would be in demand, and would be a posh place! But alas...
I don't think we'll be here again. If you're lucky, you'll be unlucky, we'll choose the next Naga ))

A great place for an ethno holiday! I recommend it!
CHOICE fell to this Ciroc Hotel. I read mixed reviews about the hotel. But she chose this hotel for this reason: she liked the ethno-style of the hotel, wanted to live in a wooden bungalow and feel an eco-tour (from the huge window to the floor there was a wonderful view of the unusual flowers and vegetation of the jungle, which monkeys periodically climbed).
Now, in order.
MORJIM. The area is relatively calm compared to the others, resembles a quiet village, the beach is relatively clean, the crowd is not so much. Mostly holidaymakers from Russia and the CIS and India itself. The beach has free sunbeds with canopies which is important for holidaymakers. The Arabian Sea, which crosses into the Indian Ocean, is gentle, relatively calm, the waves are small, the big ones rarely come... There are many cafe-restaurants on the beach, usually they are attached to hotels, prices are low, food is delicious, spices are designed for us tourists... Before sunset, the tables are put on the beach and it is very nice to see the sun. Every day is different and gorgeous!
The New Year's Eve on the Indian Ocean will always be remembered: the fireworks on the shore and right by the side were very impressive: it looked like colorful bouquets of fireworks would fall on your head!
When leaving the hotel there was a fruit shop and a variety of fruits were bought there. Nearby is a small shop where you could buy everything you need, even exchange dollars at a favorable rate (for a new $100 bill - Rs. 8,500). Next is a mini-market (fixed price) and a tent with clothes, bags and souvenirs (here you have to bargain, up to 2 times the prices are inflated).
HOTEL. Hotel on line one! It is very nice to be on the property, to feel like a piece of fairytale nature. A small pool was cleaned daily, bathed, water warmed up in the sun. Breakfast was served in the hotel cafe, hot breakfast of eggs in various forms, 2 toast, butter portion, sweet jam and hot coffee with milk. Before serving, a whole plate of watermelon. Quite enough for breakfast. We had lunch and breakfast in the restaurant of the nearby Naga Cottage Hotel, where everything was very delicious and large portions, as well as very clean and aesthetic.
The hotel staff were very polite, the versatile manager Sandeep handled all matters with a calm smile on his face. Calm and calm resonated with the hotel staff. Rooms were cleaned and linens changed on request. The hotel masseuse really liked it, developed all muscle groups, takes a responsible approach to work. The quality of his work and the price of the massage pleasantly surprised, I recommend everyone!
Ideal only in paradise, so I'll note some of the hotel's shortcomings. Not all rooms had hot (warm) water, although this did not bother holidaymakers from India! Considering that more than half of the holidaymakers were foreigners, this issue should be resolved, in my opinion. I didn't pay attention to other minor things, I prefer to enjoy my leisure and life!
CONCLUSION. The rest was generally successful. The tour of the GOA all day (temples, waterfall) was very impressive. The Morjim area really enjoyed the peace and quiet. The beach is remembered as a rest and meeting place for the New Year 2025. The hotel admired its ethno-style and location on the first line (left the hotel and already on the beach). The eco-tour to India was delightful and there was an incredible sense of peace.
I didn't want to leave!

Horror …
Then they overpowered, with a scandal, the air conditioner did not work (broke), there was no hot water at times, the bed was dirty, the pool was dirty, as were the territory and the rooms (there were 3 rooms)
Breakfast is bad, 2 eggs, bread and watermelon
And the service wasn't great
They promised to do the air conditioning all the time, supposedly we’ll do it tomorrow (and so on every day)
