Good budget option in Matheran

I booked this hotel for three nights, this features as Go stays accommodation on Go Ibibo portal and lived up to the expectations. The property is old but the rooms are well maintained, some of they recently renovated. The room has a smart tv and wifi and ac and 24 hot water, the hotel is around 150 metres from Matheran Railway Station, one option is to take stairs next to Jama Masjid and then a left turn or then go ahead and take a turn to reach the property. There is no swimming pool or in-house restaurant , currently tea is served on request, but we were informed that the in-house restaurant will start from May 20, 2026. The hotel authorities had planned a magic show on Saturday. All in all this is a good option for a refreshing break since we were not keen to explore any points and wanted a quiet respite. All in all the stay was as per our expectation and budget.

Peaceful family/couple friendly vacation

If you love the rustic old charm of Matheran, you will love Hotel Premdeep.
Away from the noisy bustle of the market yet conveniently located for access to all the view points.
The food with an all vegetarian spread is to die for..total value for money... Do go with family and Enjoy....

Good Option in Matheran

We booked two rooms, One room with a king size bed was occupied by myself, wife and our child of 7 years.(Room 104) Other room with two king beds placed side by side was occupied by my cousin and her 2 kids (Room 110). We opted for all meals. Our travel dates were 1st Jan(Fri) to 3rd Jan(Sun). We were charged 18,000 Rs. in all.
Pros:
>> Good Location not too away from the main market just 5 mins walk.
>> Courteous staff.
>> Nice play area with sufficient equipment, bats, balls, shuttle racquets, carrom boards etc..
>> Tasty food and good variety.
>> Evening DJ music, Magic show and Fire, Juggling show was entertaining.
>> 24 hours warm water in washroom.
Cons:
>> Room with one king bed (No. 104) was very small.
>> More attention needs to be given to hygiene, dustbin was dirty, phone was dusty, bed linen was not very clean, bathroom remained wet as AC drainage pipe
drained water there. Area behind the bed was dusty and dirty.
>> Bed mattress was hard.
I am giving 3 stars as keeping their rooms more clean is achievable by the hotel with the existing infrastructure and without having to spend extra, they just need to pay more attention and teach their house keeping to do a through cleaning of the rooms. This will make the hotel more desirable.

Good location and peaceful place

This is a nice property with good location. We had booked a family room for 4 which was quite spacious. Only thing I would suggest to management is to renovate the washrooms (at least in our room). Overall a nice experience with quality food.

Wonderful place

What a place..especially in the night. Staff service - excellent, very courteous, flexible. Wonderful lighting and ambience in the night. Soft music. Many activities to do. Rooms are smaller but very neat and clean. Food is very tasty.
Totally worth staying if you not looking for luxurious rooms.
