A health and safety hazard .
We had booked the room for . The moment we entered, we say all bedsheets & pillows were dirty, stained and had some spots everywhere. When we complained, the manager said its due to weather as no linens dry up well in this season. We put up with it but then the nightmare started. In few hours, we spotted lot of maggots creeping all over wash basin in the bathrooms (each almost a cm long). we freaked out and complained again so they cleaned them and put lot of bleach and phenyl into it.And finally, we had a maggot creeping on my friend's feet at the night and we were totally done with the place!!!

An absolute Nightmare
Paramount at Matheran is by far the WORST hotel I've ever seen in my life. I don't think it qualifies to be called a hotel at all. It's just a glorified 1-Star lodge and I'll tell you why.
01 - The booking manager, Amit refuses to answer your calls . . . why? Because the photos that are shown to you are lies. The rooms aren't ever worth 1000 bucks and yet they charged us 3,920.00 for a day and guess what? The AC wasn't working in one of the rooms.
02 - Do you want to have a bath at the end of the day, after trekking through Matheran? Nope. Sorry. Hot water is for 2 hours only in the morning. No amount of pleading, cajoling and even offering to pay for a bucket of hot water helps. They have a simple excuse. If we give you hot water right now, there won't be any hot water in the morning.
03 - So you still had a cold water shower. Good luck falling asleep. The mattresses, bedsheets and pillow covers are so unbelievably stained, it's like they haven't been washed in ages.
04 - Do you want to complain to the manager? Sorry . . . The manager who's running this scam of an establishment for the last 20 years is so rude, ill-mannered, obnoxious and arrogant that even the head of the service staff, Keshav has been taught to grumble, back answer and even shout back at guests saying this is it. Do whatever you want. Nothing is going to change.
05 - You've started sneezing all of a sudden. Is it a cold, a dust allergy . . . No. It's the fungus and mould that's prevalent all around the room on the ceiling, walls and washrooms.
06 - So you finally give up and decide to complain to Amit Bhalchandani, the booking manager and guess what . . . You're right. He's blocked your number because Mishra the manager has informed him that the guests are unhappy and have realized they've been scammed.
I think my only joy was that while we were exiting the hotel, we managed to convince a couple and one more group of 2 families to walk away and try their luck at a different hotel. Fortunately, they both realized from our experience and walked away

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to you as the sole online reservation contact for Hotel Paramount in Matheran, to express our serious concerns regarding our recent stay at your establishment.
1. *Advance Payment Policy*: We understand the policy of collecting full advance payment before check-in, as instructed by the management. However, this should not absolve the hotel of its responsibility to ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues that may arise during the stay.
2. *Room Cleanliness*: Upon check-in, we found the rooms to be inadequately cleaned. While we chose to overlook this initially due to our late arrival, such standards are not acceptable for a comfortable stay.
3. *Dining Experience*: Our dining experience was far from satisfactory. We encountered unclean plates during lunch and dinner, and even found a hair strand in the served dal. The food was also described as tasteless, and the breakfast was served uncovered, attracting flies.
4. *Reception Response*: When we brought these issues to the attention of the reception, we were met with a surprising and unprofessional response. The receptionist accused us of fabricating the issues, which was both shocking and unacceptable.
5. *Hotel Experienced*: No electricity since 1:30 to 6 pm and no generator back up , no updated cutleries , no hygene, no etiquettes to ground staff of communicating with customer hotel area spacious but no maintenance.
6. *Staff Engagement*: Particularly, *Mr. Amit Bhalchandani, Sales Reservation Manager in Mumbai*, engaged in a manner that was perceived as dismissive, without verifying our company details, leading to a misunderstanding. He mistakenly associated us with another company that had outstanding issues with them. Despite a 50% advance payment having already been made, he insisted on full payment before guest arrival, citing instructions from the owner. *Mr. Prithvi Singh, the Hotel Manager*, pretend verbal & manual support alone without ground staff engagement which was again in no consideration when customer escalated the issue .
7. *Owner's Involvement*: Despite our attempts to reach the owner to resolve these issues, we have been met with a lack of response. It appears that the owner is shielding themselves behind staff members, which is disappointing and does not reflect well on the hotel's commitment to customer service.
We believe that every guest deserves a pleasant and comfortable stay, and it is the hotel's responsibility to ensure this. We hope that you will take these concerns seriously and address them promptly. We would appreciate a response outlining the steps that will be taken to rectify these issues and prevent similar experiences for future guests.

Bad condition, no value for money.
Not worth visiting please find alternative places. I Visited with my family, first of all it does not seem like a resort but more like a hostel.
It's under staffed and the employee don't treat you like a customer but more like a an hostel inmate.
Secondly the condition of the rooms is very poor- soiled bedsheets, stained walls, broken furniture. We had booked three rooms and all were same condition.
The food is very simple and will remind you of your hostel days. They are very slow to replenish.
There are better places at the same or even lesser price. The management must focus on providing the value for money rather than cutting cost everywhere.

NEEVER GO THIS HOTEL PARAMOUNT , MATHERAN, WORSTEXPERIENCE OF OUR LIFE
We 30 senior citizens from Mumbai went to Matheran with advance booking to Hotel Paramount.
1. They committed something, they are showing something on website and they are doing contradictorily after check in.
2. Hotel manager and other front desk staff are totally non cooperative and liar.
3. There were no room service staff on duty, it took 2 hours for to check in the rooms.
4. Most dirtiest rooms i ever seen my life of a hotel.
5. Even food services and stuffs were so tasteless and insufficient that almost we were hungry.
6. We recommend every traveller not to book and visit such 3rd grade hotel.
