Great Stay

I had booked my stay for my official trip to Goa in the first week of April 2022. i was very apprehensive on reading the review posted on TripAdvisor. But i was in for a pleasant surprise. The entire property has been renovated and the room provided to me was absolutely neat and clean. The bathrooms too were hygienically maintained.The only drawback was that the restaurant was not functional. I was inform,ed that it would start from 15th June.
Overall the services provided by the staff was great and since i have continuous work in Goa i now know where my preferred destination is!!

Bad review

Vilena is the dirtiest hotel in Mapusa. I really mean literally dirty. The bathrooms were dirty so were the rooms. Dogs in the reception area. the bedsheets were dirty too. Really pathetic. I've been here twice never going to go there again.

Affordable city hotel

This hotel is in central mapusa which is a great location in case you are a traveler.
Good staff and good service provided. Comfortable rooms and its very affordable hotel. Do stay here if you want affordable and centrally located rooms.

Not impressed

The hotel in Mapusa is near to the market (fruit and veg). We stayed here after looking in the lonely planet which said it was the best in the whole of Mapusa!! It is not good, they make you fill out forms which they hand to the police (apparently they do this with all travelers in case we do drugs but it made me feel uneasy). There are 3 dogs in reception which look a little intimidating and one of them growls, they also bark throughout the night!! rooms are dirty and our bathroom stank of urine. the windows don't fit properly, although you are high up so i don't think anyone could get in!? Personally i think its wise to skip Mapusa completely!!
