It's a piece full place nice accommodation....fud is taste..but try to respect couples who come to ur resort..guy at resection need to have a gud attitude because we have visited ur place 3 times twice the service was grt but the 3rd time we walked out unhappy....!

if u want to hangout with your bachelor best friends...this is the place
unexpectedly went to bnglre ...thought of going to nandhi hils with 4 of my friends ...saw this hotel while googling the route..called..they said come to hotel and will talk..ok that was abit harsh..but when the receptionist saw 4 look alikes like WWE stars..he just said 3000 per night and gave the key..i thought it was over priced..but when we saw the room...2 big bed rooms..enough place to play football..friendly staff..no problem for partying..security let us play with a big Labrador...we played pool..and the gym is good for small warmups ...nandhi hill is very close...no complaint for sound and all..water in the swimming pool will be very cold ...food is way cheap compared to some hotels in kerala...chef was very polite and spiced up dishes for our needs..planing to go again with some more people next time

The worst hotel I've stayed in. Period
Let me start by saying that i'm absolutely dumb-struck by the good reviews that this hotel has received. I constantly kept checking if this is the same hotel that i actually stayed at.
We travelled as a family and had 2 kids with us. The first two hours were spent shifting rooms and the staff walking around in our rooms with spanners and other tools. The flush didn't work, the TV didn't work, the bathroom lights didn't work, the rooms had heavy smell of cigarettes, bathroom was dirty and rusty sanitaries worst than a public toilet. Had brought my in laws with me and was totally embarrassed in front of them.
I do not understand the purpose of advance booking when the hotel does not do any preparation of the room. They do not check if the basic amenities are working. We had to change 2 rooms before we could find one with a working flush, and that room had the cigarette smell.
I had asked the receptionist if they had any better rooms and that i was willing to pay extra for an upgrade and he assured me that these are the best rooms in the hotel. We arrived on a weekday when I'm pretty sure we were the only guests in the hotel. The photos show a very large hotel but most of the rooms are either too old to be used or undergoing renovation. I think the photos were taken soon after independence.
If you are travelling with friends to party and booze, i think you would't take these issues seriously, even then, the tariff rates displayed at the reception are actually lot lesser than quoted here on trip advisor. If you are travelling with family and demand the least hygiene and neatness, i request you to not book this hotel. There are a few lodges nearby that may not be available on trip advisor but are actually lot better. And you can always book your stay at nandihillsreservations.in. I've to try it next time. Extreme case, you can find a hotel maybe 10-20 kms away and i would still prefer that than stay at this god forsaken place.

my nandi tour weekends
It was good but no ac was there due to the place itself was very cool outside the city good. Hotel was very good, only non ac, but spacious rooms with balcony let overcome the pitfalls of not having ac. Excellent.

"Friendly staff, good food & comfortable accommodation"
Mount view resort has everything that one is looking for in a resort. we requested for an early check-in and the staff dealt with us in a very friendly manner. they were very hospitable and complied to every request. we were travelling with our one year old baby and were quite anxious. But thanks to the cooperation of the staff we had a great time. the food was delicious too !! it was served hot and was prepared with great care. The waiter kept checking with us if the food was fine and they gave us alot of specialized attention inspite of being a busy day. EVen the accommodation was very comfortable and cosy. We had a peaceful night's rest.
