BEST BUDGET FRIENDLY ACCOMMODATION IN SIARGAO ISLAND♥️

Overall, I had a great experience with Tres islas hostel Siargao. The staff were incredibly helpful, and the amenities were great. The rooms and especially their toilets are really clean and well maintained.
value for money

Best stay

We’ve stayed for almost 2 weeks at tres isla. The staff is so friendly and every night there was a group who wants to go out. We’ve celebrate New Year’s Eve together and had a lot of fun.
The dorm is clean and the bed are good. Maybe a little hard, but I like that.
The breakfast was okay, every morning there was rice, egg and tea.
If we’re visiting Siargao again. We will stay here.

True Siargao Experience

Very fun place to stay. It is close to Cloud 9, making it great for people coming for the true surfing experience. The staff were extremely friendly. Don't be surprised if you find yourself sharing a drink with them on the dance floor at one of the local parties.

Their Asset is their People

I availed of one of their beds in the airconditioned dormitory type rooms which cost 550 pesos per night per pax. This price does not come withbreakfast. The hostel is NOT located along the main highway of general luna. It is somewhat secluded. So you have to pay for motorcycle or tricycle to take you to the tourist attractions in Siargao. The rooms maybe affordable but it will cost you to commute or get around General Luna. It may also be too far to walk to the tourist destinations. The roads to and from the hotel are quite rocky. So take caution when driving. There are many dogs in the vicinity. I was attacked by one while driving my bicycle which made me hit another motorcycle.
Their ammenities are quite okay for the price. I stayed on the upper part of double decked bed. There's a common comfort room (men and women separated) which caters to all the people staying at the hostel.
You are allowed to cook your own food without any additional fee. They have pans, plates and utensils for you to borrow.
They have also an area where you can dry your laundry or wet clothes.
But their greatest asset is their people. Their staff were friendly and accomodating. Chris accompanied me and the friends I made at the hostel to a night out.
One time, I woke up early morning wanting to see the sunrise but was afraid to ride my bike due to the dog attack incident. The chef of Tres Islas drove me to the Cloud 9 boardwalk on his motorcycle even refusing that I pay him for driving me there.

Thank you for taking time in writing us this review. As per your feedback, the hostel gave you a decent and satisfactory stay which we are happy to hear about. We do our best to provide a reasonable rate and a cozy/livable hostel for everyone to enjoy, “value for your money” as what most guests call it. We understand that the hostel is not situated at the center of General Luna, that is why we made sure that all our booking sites and inquiries are transparent with the exact location of the hostel. What we are proud about our location are the authenticity and total island immersion. We find peace and get to experience the real island living in Siargao. Away from the busy streets, noisy bars and crowded spots. About the dog incident, siargao is an island with dogs and cats roaming freely as this island is not just best for humans but for animals too. Dogs here are friendly and sociable but they can be cocky at times. Nonetheless, we totally understand your feedback and we only wish nothing but the best for everyone! Thank you and God bless!
