Upscale 15 room hotel with generator and enclosed guarded parking.

My wife and I stayed overnight, arriving at 1PM by taxi($10) from the CBO Airport.
A nice receptionist copied our passports while we filled out an address form, then provided our key card(wifi code) to store our bags. We walked 1km S to the nice Robinson’s Mall & Supermarket, returning for the 2PM check in.
Deluxe #111 opened to a tiled living room with a couch, small table with 2 chairs and a shelf unit with a hot pot and minibar. Next was the wood tiled bedroom with 2 very comfortable twins across a large TV with only Al Jezerra in English(Chinese channel showed “The Green Mile”) and ~20 more Philippine-Asian channels, a nice closet and designer lighting. The spacious bathroom included a tile shower with quick hot water.
The AC unit was sited over the bed and we needed the receptionist to reset the sporadic WIFI and adjust the remotes to operate the TV.
The complimentary breakfast had 2 Asian choices with eggs of your style. We chose the Chicken Tapa with scrambled eggs, served hot with coffee, promptly at 7AM.
Although Moto-cabs congregate on an adjacent street, this new and well equipped hotel-motel is isolated from the walkable mall areas as well as being designed for local Asians arriving with their car.

An Oasis after a Hectic Drive!

After a long hectic drive from Davao, the Rockfort Hotel was a welcome Oasis. It's modern and has a great style. The on-site parking is excellent , ands security is supported by a 24 hour guard. When I opened the door to our room I was surprised to find that its more a studio apartment, quite spacious and beautifully fitted out. I had a wonderful restful sleep and was welcomed by a hot breakfast served to the room. The staff we really friendly, most helpful and very professional. The location is in the quiet backstreets and is well sign-posted from the main road making it easy to find. And it close to some good restaurants and bars. Overall a wonderful relaxing enjoyable stay.
