quiet and relaxing stay

if you want to stay in Tenerife otherwise, away from hyper touristic places, close to the capital, bus titsa nearby, discover in ANAGA, a very nice local population. and especially feel in nature.

Love but.....

The location is perfect. A few miles from Santa Cruz yet totally rural. Expect dogs barking, goats bleating and chickens doing their thing amidst mango trees and other exotic greenery.
The accommodation requires a bit of attention. Rickety and broken ratan chairs on the verandah means there is nowhere to comfortably sit and relax and breathe in the calm. Lighting in the kitchen diner is particularly poor.
There are a number of restaurants nearby. The Charca does great steaks and Restaurant Dos Barrancos does passable food but takes short cuts. My pork loin with mushrooms was actually a tin of mushroom soup emptied over the pork. A real pity!
Natives give you the eye if you happen to walk too far up any of the three nearby valleys.
Goats are kept in pretty appalling conditions so I would not advise eating the goat meat on offer. These intelligent and inquisitive animals serve better than to be confined to dirty yards and concrete prisons!
There is a superb beach nearby with all facilities. Arrive early to avoid the crowds.
The small pool and the BBQ are shared between the two rental properties on the site.
The grounds are in need of upkeep. Particularly sad is to see the destruction being done by the non native and highly invasive Lantana plant and to a lesser extent the Sumatran cherry.
Having said all that I loved spending nearly 3 weeks there and left a bit of my heart.

Peaceful

Clean, surrounded by nature and fruit trees, near to the city. Perfect to find inspiration and creativity. The restaurants near the houses with typical canary food were great. We will return for sure.

Es mi restaurante favorito cuando vamos a las Teresitas un fin de semana y al volver a casa pasar y almorzar pero llevo un par de visitas que me decepciona un poco .
Primeramente la decoración es horrible. Con lo bonito que es el blanco les ha dado por pintar la casa de verde y violeta.
Los camareros son muy eficientes, amables y rápidos. Nada malo que decir de ellos.
Precios muy populares .
La calidad de la comida es lo que creo que ha empeorado.
Las papas que acompañan los platas son malas, parecen refritas.
Los calamares a la Romana los nota poco hechos, .
También probamos el pollo asado y es muy sabroso.
La crítica constructiva que le hago es mejorar el aspecto de la cocina que es vista ( falta limpieza) y la calidad de los platos.
