Dog friendly and time to snooze.
Always go to hosteria it's clean staff are pleasant great after getting of the ferry before we head down to southern Spain bed and linen are lovley and the rooms are very clean the view from the back was not very private,there was adequate space for all your stuff for a short stay the shower was fabulous a little noisy at night from the bar down below but it never bothered us we were too tired we go every year and will continue to do so very dog friendly .

I didn't like it.
Ugh. Best. Location ion and nice girls. Due to a water problem, we were moved to a room that looked like a bunker. It was the top floor of the building that matched the roof. Very low ceilings, a micro window in the ceiling, a toilet without privacy.and translucent. Accumulated heat and no fan. The third bed attached to the bathroom.
I think they should study this a little bit and not offer customers rooms so claustrophobic, that they do not appear in their profile pictures

Massively overpriced, try your best to find alternative accommodation.
Tiny room, tiny shower, no air-conditioning, no hairdryer for my wife, all for over €157 per night.
Not even sure we're in a double bed as it feels like a ¾.
We brought friends with us on this trip, it was an embarrassment.
We've stayed here several times before and had far better rooms and prices.

Room clean but tired, ineffectual AC but very helpful front desk.
This would be a stop over only and I suggest reviewing the room and it’s facilities before taking it is essential. The hotel is very close to the main drag of Santander and has a bar and restaurant attached. AC is crucial but noisy fans seem to be the only option here. The double room was very small and the bathroom in need of an overhaul.
The saving grace was the informative, kind and helpful lady on the front desk called Gala.

OK for one night, near the beach & pet friendly
Location was good near the Sardinero beach (about 15 minutes drive from the ferry terminal), plenty of bars & restaurants nearby. Pet friendly @ €15 a night. The room was clean & comfy but exceptionally small with no room for anything more than hand luggage. We had paid extra for a sea view but in the end this was a mistake because of the noise from the bars & restaurants directly underneath the hotel. We could hear patrons in the restaurants until quite late and then the following morning we were awoken early but staff setting out chairs on the terrace in time for the breakfast business. There was only street parking. It was free, directly outside the hotel and there was plenty of it. We didnt have a problem on a weekday out of the main season, but I would expect it to fill quite quickly in season especially at weekends. There were signs in the hotel advertising a "delicious breakfast" but the breakfast room was all locked up and the check in girl had gone home. This was not a problem in the end due to the abundance of good cafes in the area.
The check in girl caused me a great deal of stress. She phoned me on the night before our stay to enquire what time we would be arriving, When I said around 5pm, she said they were very busy and could we check in at 3pm. I thought this very strange, I have never had a hotel encourage this before, but I said we would try. The day of check in she phoned me constantly from 3pm onwards asking where we were and as we were on the road between our last stop in Salamanca & Santander this made for a very stressful journey. In the end, it was 5pm when we arrived and NO, the hotel was NOT busy. After she had checked us in, reception closed and she disappeared ! It seems to me that the only reason she had for encouraging early check was because after the last guests or even the only guests for that day were in - she could go home !!! All the locks on the room doors, the doors to the lift lobby & the outer door were automated, so really the hotel could easily put in an automatic check in machine out front to read your credit card and issue the room keys. This would be less stress for everyone concerned and guests could check in at any time and the check in girl could stay at home all day or go to work somewhere else !
