Convenient Location & Comfortable Stay
We have just got back to the UK after a 3 night stay in Pinto.
We were looking for a fairly central location to stay to visit Parque Warner and Hostal Gran Via Pinto did not disappoint.
Firm but comfortable beds, clean, friendly owner and staff. We had a little balcony that looked over the square which was lovely to wake up to. And the breakfast, whilst continental, was included, lots of choice and whilst it was served for you, you could go back for seconds, thirds.
The bus to Parque Warner is outside the station and only a 5-6 minute walk from the Hostal.
For anyone taking a trip to Parque Warner, don't hesitate to book here!

The power would trip when turning on the air conditioning and showering at the same time
The mattress cover sheet had a food stain or who knows what it was that we did not notice until the morning we left.
The guy who checked us in was very good, another tall shaved guy was also very good, but another one with glasses who was shorter was honestly a bit unpleasant. Without knowing me at all he tells me I am a waiter I am not a mind reader, because I asked him for ham, and I assumed it was serrano ham not deli ham. It is a small thing, but you have to have tact when dealing with people.
If you ask me if I would return, possibly not.

A terrible hostel.
It was a complete disaster, the workers treated us poorly, the breakfast and food tasted terrible, and in the kitchen, they criticized us and said things like they would give us a good slap, the beds were hard and had bugs, the showers were strange to use, the TV would freeze, the cleaners were the only friendly ones and they did not clean well.

Las afirmaciones realizadas sobre la higiene de las habitaciones, la calidad de la comida y el comportamiento de nuestro personal son especialmente graves y no coinciden con las incidencias registradas ni con los estándares que aplicamos diariamente en nuestro establecimiento.
Nos sorprende asimismo la referencia a supuestos comentarios amenazantes por parte de trabajadores, ya que no hemos recibido ninguna queja de este tipo y tales comportamientos son totalmente incompatibles con nuestra forma de trabajar.
Quedamos a disposición del autor para que nos facilite los datos de su estancia y podamos analizar cualquier incidencia concreta de forma objetiva.
Seguiremos trabajando para ofrecer el mejor servicio posible a nuestros huéspedes, tal y como reflejan las numerosas valoraciones recibidas en las distintas plataformas de reserva y opinión.

DO NOT GO, IT IS A RIP-OFF.
Beds with bugs, very hard mattresses, the people there are all very disrespectful, the only one who was respectful was the cleaner, for her you get one star.
Do not go, it is a rip-off for how bad everything is, the food has no flavor, I recommend that you do not go to this hostel.

The room was perfect. The check in process was very overwhelming, they lock up at night and you can’t get in. Was stuck outside in the pouring rain for over 20 min. I called the number but don’t speak Spanish so the older gentleman at the desk hung up on me. I had to get someone to call for me and put them on speaker to talk to him before being able to get in. I was one of 2 stuck outside in the rain unable to get in. Nowhere on your booking does it say you can’t check in in the evening. Throughout the stay the older gentleman at the front desk was so incredibly rude. But the younger gentleman was so kind and helpful. The lights stay off in the stairwells and hallways and are motion sensored, but the sensors only work sometimes. So a few times I was going up or down 3 flights of stairs in the pitch black. Don’t think i would stay here again.
