A great tranquil weekend with friends

Very typically old fashioned, family run business, perfect location, super clean, practical, abuela works all day and all night, the rest of her family and staff do everything they can to make it good for the guests. the view from the room is fantastic, we needed a proper relaxation weekend, and that's exactly what we had. The food was deliciously cooked. Dinner, Breakfast. we did have very noisy disrespectful neighbours in the room next to us until 02.00am in the morning, but that is not the Hostels fault ofcourse. parking for our motorbike was also perfect, right in front of the hostel.

I doubt we'll repeat

As a hostel you cannot ask much more than it is.
Well... The location is excellent if you are going as a family for being on the beachfront (bowling by the way). Comfortable bed, you are asked 15€ for an extra bed each night.
Bad: the hostel has no elevator and makes your life very complicated. They have the kitchen on the first floor and the smell of food is unbearable as it enters the rooms and is all over the building. The light sensors should check them since they are not on the ladder and go up or down in the dark. They make the rooms without ton or son and on two occasions we had to wait when going upstairs for breakfast since they were making it. There's no sign on the door that says don't make the room. Q by the way are the loudest, you hear absolutely everything about the next room. The restaurant left us quite indifferent, especially the staff q does not even know what vegetable milk is (which by the way they do not have any type and no lactose either) The man at the bar should give a few cordiality classes and also refuses to charge on card running the dataphone.

The food is the best I have eaten in Spain! The portions are really great too and the waiters are so lovely! All of the staff are very kind and the hotel is on the beach! I would recommend this stay to everyone

Good waiter service and friendly

We’ve stopped in Castell de Ferro for the last few years and always come to this bar for morning coffees and tostadas. The waiter is great. He remembers our order every day including all the tiny bits like extra sugar etc. Nice, chilled out bar

Friendly and clean

I’m touring on my bike. Stopped by luck outside hostel. Got an “interior” room, it was perfect for my use. Looks like they have sea view as well!
The staff seems to be a family and they are friendly and the room was very clean.
The prices was really good!
