Good hotel, mixed age clientele
We spent a lovely short break at this hotel. It’s right next door to BCM nightclub, but we had no noise disruption from this at all. We had a sea view room, which also had a good pool view. This hotel is really well situated in the resort with lots to do around it. The room was modern and comfortable. The food was good and although the restaurant is a bit “ canteeny” it was fine. There was a good variety of food on offer and the all inclusive drinks were good. A lot of the guests were late teens and 20’s but as a middle aged couple we didn’t feel out of place, there were some families there too, so a real mixture. Lots going on in the main pool during the day, we preferred the upper pool area with the shallow pool. There is a bar up there too and you can sit in the pool and relax. A lovely hotel, we would return.

Our favourite hotel
We have been to hotel Samos four times in the last 3 years for our summer holiday and breaks all the way from Liverpool. Every time we come we are kindly welcomed back by the entertainment team and bar staff. The entertainment team is what brings us back here every year. You simply cannot be bored. We are a couple in our late 20’s but can see all ages/parties are catered for including families and big groups to make sure everybody is having a great time all day and night. All inclusive includes all drinks (minus bottled beer, draught included) throughout the day and the bar staff are fantastic people.
Our first 3 visits we have had a sea view room and have never had an issue with noise through the night. However this year we got a pool view room and did not get much sleep most nights. I would also say that as a regular guest who follows the social media, the atmosphere and great vibes of this hotel are not reflected in the social media pages. I have seen several shows, played endless games of prize bingo, tombolas, archery, pool volleyball, basketball, and ran down the magic carpet but have never once seen this on Instagram. The instagram is very corporate and business like rather than the fun, family friendly hotel this is.
These are minor points for us and we will definitely be returning as we love it here.
Special shout out to Ramon and Trin from the entertainment team. We look forward to seeing them every year and it is clear through seeing them day to day that they put everything they have in to making hotel Samos an amazing experience for all. Thank you guys!

Worst experience ever in a hotel.
Air conditioning doesn’t work staff didn’t care and told me to get another hotel and of course they won’t refund.

Food poisoning ++
Horrible, avoid if you don't want to come close to death, and I mean every word. I caught food poisoning on the 2nd day. I was all-inclusive, so I only ate at the hotel. I contacted the front desk to explain that I was lying in bed agonizing and to warn them to be careful so that no one else would be affected. The only response was okay, you are not hospitalized, so it is nothing serious. They brought me a rice and chicken meal (I am a vegetarian) to my room as an apology, even though I couldn't stand the smell of food or even drink a glass of water. My husband was also sick for one evening. Upon my return to France, I was on antibiotics for a week, then, given the deterioration of my health, I was hospitalized and put on an IV with a confirmed diagnosis of salmonellosis and shock treatment to clear the bacteria. I was bedridden for 3 weeks with all the effects that go with it. I was unable to enjoy our family trip, or my children, who only remember the fear of having seen their mom in that state. I contacted the hotel several times after my return to France, but never received a response from them. They are not even professional!!!

I have just returned home after my stay at Hotel Samos, and my friend and I had the most amazing time!
The atmosphere was fantastic, and that’s all thanks to the incredible entertainment team. They were absolutely amazing! They put so much hard work into every show, and each performance was so impressive. Broadway and MJ Tribute was my favourite ❤️
A special thank you to Laura, Ariel, and Bambino – you made our holiday unforgettable. We love you so much!
