Upea sijainti
Upea sijainti. huoneet melko pienet. epätavallinen pesuallasjärjestely (makuuhuoneessa). Ei onnellinen siitä, että jääkaappi ei sisältynyt hintaan ja se ei ollut kovin kylmä tai siinä ei ollut pakastinosaa. Air con ei ole kovin tehokas. 3 tähden eikä 4 huonetta. Vastaanoton henkilökunta erinomainen, osaava ja tehokas. Ei ole tottunut maksamaan tallelokerosta nykyään! ! . Uima-altaan reunalla on riittävä ja kohtuullinen palvelu, vaikka söimme yhden päivän muualla, kuten meille sanottiin, että voileipiä ei ollut (hyvin omituisia lounasaikaan sesonkien aikana).
Suihkutilat eivät ole 4 tähden vieraille, joiden on käytettävä tiloja kassan jälkeen.
Haluaisin yöpyä taas hotellissa, koska todella halunnimme kattoterassi. en ole niin innokas parvekkeella ilman aurinkoa hotellin takana, joten varaa tulevaisuudessa huoneen merinäköalalla. Ainakin meillä oli parveke istua, vaikka huoneessa oli 3 henkilöä ja parvekkeella vain 2 tuolia.
Suihkutilat eivät ole 4 tähden vieraille, joiden on käytettävä tiloja kassan jälkeen.

Mixed experiences
The hotel has a great location. However, by check-in, we were given probably one of the worst rooms. For accommodation in a room with a sea view paid 12 euros per person per night. And that 168 euros. The room wasn't very clean. Dust in the closet and on it almost to your finger. Daily cleaning is poor : floors have been cleaned for only 3 days, dust is not wiped, mirrors are not cleaned, as is the mixer on the washbasin. Poor soundproofing. Neighbors let me sleep.
If you want to take an iron - be prepared to pay 20 euros deposit (this money will return you ), however there are only 3 grand (so I was told at the reception).
As for the reception, the staff is extremely unfriendly.
In the dining room, you cannot take out even a peach (may even be searched). Breakfasts are monotonous, dinners are varied, but all drinks are free, even water.

A great time at the Maritim
On the front in Calella, a great location. Loads of restaurants nearby and a restaurant and bar in the hotel. Comfortable room, good facilities. Clean and tidy, not much noise other than the odd drunk passing buy outside. Certainly value for money, staff provided excellent service. not sure what tripadvisor mans by atmosphere.

Okay, but some service issues
Reception staff unfriendly, I needed towels as they weren’t changed and when I asked I just got a lecture about how I should have left them in the sink. Indoor spa hot tub was cold on the first day I stayed. Second day I stayed the sauna wasn’t working. I wanted to take a croissant from breakfast to my room and I got stopped and accused of stealing by 2 of the restaurant team, and they tried to search me. I asked for late checkout and even though the hotel was extremely quiet they wanted €40

Good but could be great
Its a strong 3, but 4 has is slightly optimistic
Nice hotel, good rooftop sunbathing and two small Jacuzzi’s giving a nice environment. A bar would make it stand out on the roof.
Underground a further small pool and Jacuzzi, however 8 people and its full.
People are excellent, the food staff are really great, smily and friendly. It just needs to rub off on the blunt miserable one on reception spoiling the experience. The food was really good and plenty of options but very busy in a tight 2hr window for dinner
Does have a gym but its quite small and more like your converted bedroom. Its locked, it was never used and costs €3 per person which feels a bit tight.
The sauna the same, never saw it used, its €8 per person and 30 mins notice to crank it up, all a bit lacking a high quality feel.
The sea view is great, however expect keeping doors closed to keep the noise of screaming people at 2am, the refuge wagons emptying glass bins at 4am, and the train that is actually between the hotel and beach so you cant just walk over to the beach.
The town was great and a free train offer to Barcelona meant we visited 3 times, but be warned whilst free it’s incredibly busy and you may have to stand up most of the 90 min way.
Room was great no issues with cleanliness or quality but just starting to feel ever so slightly dated but wouldn’t out me off.
All in all recommend, but unsure how it will fair when really busy in summer with facilities
