Had a great time as always.
We have been going to this hotel for years and never disappoints. The hotel is spotless, staff are fantastic, food is good, near the beach, always plenty of sunbeds round the pools and the entertainment is good.

It deserves a solid 8 but NOT a 9 as reported.
Hotel well-positioned for the sea and small shops, definitely an 8 rating but certainly NOT a 9. Pool area is a bit old and the spa is very small and cramped. Restaurant staff not always professional, in particular a curly-haired, middle-aged waitress, always annoyed. Hotel beautiful inside but rooms are tiny.

Stay at Grupotel Maritimo
Pros:
Pool set up was really good, always a sun lounger available regardless of what time of the day you went down
Friendly staff, particularly in the bar area
Nice clean lobby, plenty of areas to sit down and relax
Cons:
You are assigned a seat throughout your stay in the restaurant, we were located in the outside area of the restaurant, air conditioning could be better in this area as it got very humid here
Cleaning in the rooms were very good, however on more than one occasion used towels were taken and not replaced, meaning we had to go down to reception and ask for towels before we could take a shower
Mattress in the room was also quite hard
A lot of ants out on our balcony, it was the same when looking out on neighbouring balcony’s so make sure to keep the door to your bedroom closed to avoid letting them into your room. I understand it is probably common to the area but one day we easily had 20-30+ ok our balcony
Overall, it was a good stay, there are shops nearby for if you ever need anything and it is located right next to a bus stop for trips into the port/old town

First class staff in a first class hotel.
Excellent hotel.
Everything was perfect except maybe it needs a kettle and coffee and tea in the rooms.
All staff were brilliant, especially the bar waiters, and our Leo the cleaner who I left a gift of irn bru and shortbread for lol.
Was a pleasure dealing with all the staff.
Pool was so refreshing and no q at all any time of day, even at 10 in the morning you can get a bed by the pool. Just perfect.
Food was good, we only had b and b as we prefer to eat out mostly. Fish and chips from outside snacks bar was class too, very cheap but very tasty.
The area is fairly quiet but watch out for the busy roads, cars etc don't want to stop a lot. A few minutes stroll from the beach which is lovely but very very busy.
You can also catch the bus up to the stunning area of Alcudia bay, beautiful ❤️
If we're ever back to Alcudia we'd stay here again without a doubt.

Hotel is at a great location only few minutes walk from the beach. The food was excellent at breakfast and dinner with so much variety and great quality. The pools were also decently sized and didn’t feel overcrowded with the bar located in the middle of them which was really decently priced. The rooms were large and the bathroom was modern. However, the aircon in the room was quite old and even putting it at the lowest temperature, it didn’t feel like it was doing anything about the heat. The bed was also harder than usual for us and combined with the aircon not working properly, didn’t have a great sleep. I think considering the food and location its great for your money but improvements can be made with the room.
