nice hotel with noisy neighbors

Spent two nights here. Came with my husband for the Surva 2025 festival. My impressions of the hotel are rather positive. It is not new, reminds me of old Soviet hotels, but it is clean, the rooms are warm and cozy, the staff is friendly and polite, the breakfast is simple but filling, there are different options. The restaurant is open until late, and it is possible to have a pretty good dinner, even if you arrived late in the evening. I would have been satisfied with the stay, if not for the establishment (I don’t know what it is, a cafe or a night club, I think), located under the hotel windows, on the side of the square. Both nights I listened to their music until 02:00. It is very loud, the wall on this side was vibrating. I don’t know, maybe it is only during the festival, or maybe only on weekends, but unfortunately, I will not risk staying in this hotel again, because I have very sensitive sleep and it was really hard for me to enjoy the trip because of it.

Not so cool

The rooms in the "Struma" hotel are not so nice and comfortable compared to the price that is paid. There are a few exceptions, but overall it is an old hotel, without lux. But the breakfast is very good.

OK for an overnight sleep

Tidy rooms! The building doesn't look too good from the outside ... but it is ok from the inside ... It'll do, if you are just up for an overnight stay. The service is ok! The food is requiring getting used to.

Horror experience

We were supposed to stay there for a week , but we have left after the first night.
The rooms are tinny, there is no chance to join the beds because the room is so small that the 2 beds fit inside only in a certain position. Impossible to walk inside it without bumping into my husband or the bags. The elevator is a trap. I have hurt my foot twice , although I have only used it 5 times.
There was no water running, so we had to buy bottles of water to be able to wash our hands (we have complained about it at the reception, but they have said it was not their fault: however water started to run for 5 mins and stopped completely after).
Food terrible: we had dinner there, we were not able to order from the menu, they just brought the plates: a lot of food but it rested on the plates: the rice was cold, the fish tasteless, and the desert was just a sponge with water and sugar syrup.
Breakfast even worse: for 24 people they have brought 2 plates with cheese , 2 with yellow cheese,2 with fried bread, 2 with some strange salami and some cereal plus 2l milk. We had to ask for coffee and it was brought to us after 15 mins.

Hotel vintage

Situato in centro circondato da attività e locali le camere pulite, personale cordiale, arredamento delle stanze da rivedere. Nel complesso sé ammodernarto agli standard moderni sarebbe un hotel da consigliare al 100%
