Floating Forest stay was a highlight of our WA tour
Our stay at the Floating Forest cabin was a highlight of our recent tour in WA, we'd love to have stayed longer than just two nights. The cabin was beautifully equipped, comfortable and our hosts made us feel really welcome, including a lovely welcome pack. The green, peaceful location is good for exploring the area (with a car) and the grounds around the cabins are lovely. Recommended without hesitation.

We had the most amazing stay in the Wandoo accommodation — it was absolutely perfect for our weekend anniversary getaway. From the moment we arrived, every detail had been so thoughtfully put together, making the whole experience feel really special.
The pricing was fantastic for what was included, and we were blown away by all the extra touches and freebies. The barbecue setup was amazing, and having everything provided — from quality coffee pods to full cooking supplies — made it so easy to relax and enjoy our time without needing to bring a thing.
Being able to experience one of the local wineries was such a highlight and added something really memorable to our stay.
Everything felt seamless, peaceful, and honestly quite magical. We couldn’t fault a single thing. It exceeded all of our expectations and made our anniversary weekend so special.
Highly recommend — we would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Staying in a forest sanctuary is good for your soul!
We stayed in Tingle Chalet for two nights and it was delightful. There were many lovely touches like the Nespresso machine and T2 teabags. The slow combustion fireplace made our stay super cosy. The trees and views were fantastic and we loved the amazing bird life.

Peaceful retreat with luxury finishes
We loved our days at the Floating Forest. Our only regret was that we didn’t book longer. The Burl cabin was decorated with gorgeous art pieces and surrounded with natural beauty including the gardens, wallabies and fairy wrens. We instantly felt at home. The property was better than an average stay with all of the little touches that added to the luxurious feel and experience. We would love to come back.

Charming and comfortable getaway in Denmark
(**4.5 Stars**) A wonderful find in a wonderful part of Western Australia.
The Floating Forest is evocative of something out of a storybook: the cottages sit on beautiful grounds full of birds, kangaroos and flowers. During the day, the views are lovely, and at night, the open canopy allows for some of the best stargazing I've ever experienced.
Inside, the cabins are charming and befitting for the scenery where they are. Well considered and well equipped. Great kitchen, plush bed, smart tv, and a gorgeous bathroom with lovely toiletries. We appreciated the stocked coffee, which we enjoyed each morning on our patio, and the welcome wine and local provisions.
We also appreciated the helpful directions and notification that we could arrive early... the directions were helpful because, while we didn't take advantage of the early check-in, we did arrive after dark, and the extra care there was considerate.
What didn't make this a full-five stars, on the other hand, was the checkout. Having been on the road for three weeks, which involved city, rainforest, liveaboard dive boats, and a wedding in Perth, and being near the tail-end of our trip, we needed a bit more time to get ourselves sorted. We were packing up our car at 10:am (checkout time), making a few trips back and forth inside. I received a text at 10:09 reminding me of the checkout time, and at 10:15, as we were closing up the car, someone drove by and asked if we were "out", because "it's 10:15, so..." This seemed a bit excessive, as the person saw us loading up, presumably when she sent the text, and proceeded to say something when we were clearly leaving.
Having worked in hotels, I do see the need to turnover a room for the next guests, however, there are more graceful ways to approach this, and a 15 minute period is hardly an egregious overrun. The scolding (albeit soft) was strange, but would not discourage us from staying here again, or recommending it to others.
