Thank you for your hospitality. Whilst I didn't actually interact with any of the staff or use the pool. My stay was everything I needed. I arrived after the office had closed and the instructions on how to get my keys were easy to follow and I had no problems accessing my room. I checked out before the office had opened, but again the process to drop off the keys was easy.
The room was tidy. I enjoyed the complimentary shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, soap for the shower. The parking was easy, finding my room was easy. The room provided all the facilities I could have asked for. I almost wished I returned instead of staying someone else in my stay whilst in the Darwin, but never mind. It was quiet and the bed was comfy.
What more could you ask for?

First sight impression.

Outside was dirty - all outside needs scrubbing, screen door wouldn't close or lock, dirty and scuff marks on walls - needs a new paint job inside. Toilet roll holder falling of wall and ice trays in freezer empty.

overcharged and under delivered

Paid $89 a night for a six-night booking. It is the most we paid in four months of travel. On arrival and after we had paid, we were told about a carnival 30 meters from our site, and that fighter jets would be flying overhead during our stay. I was disappointed that this could not be told to us when we were making our phone booking roughly a month earlier.
When we book a Discovery Park, we have an expectation of what the brand will deliver. This park sadly disappointed.

Poor

This park is a disgrace to the Discovery Parks name. Yes there’s the aeroplane noise that is very loud. Nothing they can do about that. The bins were full to overflowing, the ammenities are barely average and only two of the six washing machines in the laundry were working which is a big issue for a park of this size. We stayed four nights at a crazy per night price and there was clearly no effort being made to fix them. The pools are just average and the general upkeep of the park is well below average. Stay at Oasis Tourist Park instead.

We stayed for three nights and we were very happy with our cabin. Very clean and spacious cabin. Location was perfect. Excellent value for the money. Highly recommended to others. We did not use the pool.
