The location is excellent. It's walking distance from Pike Place and Pier 66. There is plenty of places to eat near the hostel. The staff is extremely helpful and accommodating. My room was basic but clean. The bed was comfortable. This is my first time to stay in a hostel and it was definitely a good experience. I would stay here again.

Good and affordable option near core places in Seattle. The staff are great and the shared spaces (esp the kitchen) are very nice. A lot of great food options nearby, too. We stayed in a family room for 4 and it had the essential for a weekend trip, a bit tight but spaciousness isn’t what you should expect from a hostel. The two things to be aware of are, first, our room was right next to the alley and whenever anyone walked by, smoked nearby, took out trash or other activities the noise and smell came through the window and the window fan that cooled off the room. Second, the location itself is a bit far from the rail station from the airport but you can jump on the bus, take a Lyft/Uber, or walk to it.

This place was super.
They have lots of young folks working here and the place is emaculate. The kitchen was roomy, but the dining area needs to be doubled in size. People were crowded and looking for seats all the meal times.
My bed was comfy, though a top bunk for a 69's age woman was not good.
They need al elevator. But I did love the historical building that was recondonditioned

It’s an old but charming building, with very nice vantage facades. There are some pockets of homeless people (downtown area indeed) and also some busy restaurants around, so you expect a mixture of feeling. Neighborhood is safe and very convenient - walking distance to public transportation network.

Friendly staff, useful amenities, smaller but nice breakfast/bar area. Easy check-in/out, and convenient luggage storage both in the room and for the time after checking out but before leaving the city
