had some issues like heater, fridge and tv not working but that was solved the next day. Great receptionist on the second day. Room 302 was VERY small, almost closet size.

The staff were great... very accommodating and there to ensure your needs are met.
As for the room, it was mediocre at best. The air-conditioner did work very well and get the room cooler. The handles on the shower were so loose that if one were to slip and reach for them, they would give way and you would crash to the shower floor, hitting your head on the tub when you landed. The shower handle that turns the water was so loose, it was hard to get the water on and turned to hot or cold effectively. And lastly the toilet wasn't one used in a hotel but rather a public restroom...totally out of place and very loud when flushed.
Again the staff were great.... the hotel's management needs to go room by room checking all the facilities to ensure everything is in good working order and safe for the people coming to stay there.. our room was a lawsuit waiting to happen.

The room was musty and the walls were thin. The window was broken so there was a LARGE gap of air coming inside so at this time of year it was fine but would be a problem at other seasons. The historic hotel looked like it needed some extra TLC all around. I’m a fan of “character” but the vibe was more “run down/cheap flip” than it could have been. It wasn’t worth changing hotels after I got there but it certainly wasn’t comfortable it was “fine”. The parking that was included at the hotel was a self park situation in a building one block away. So that wasn’t ideal, especially being a single female parking late at night in a sketchy garage. I won’t be staying here again.

The people were helpful and friendly. The room was cold but they provided a heater when requested. The internet was very poor and repeatedly dropped out.

Beware of the photos. They do not match the room at all. When I asked why my room did not look like what I thought I booked, I was told a "third party makes changes to the website". I felt totally duped and it was low level. Sink did not drain, one lamp, no storage. Would never recommend.
