Located on a 24-hour bus route, the Drumorne is just 2 miles from Edinburgh’s city center. With free Wi-Fi, it is 25 minutes’ walk from Edinburgh Beach and a 5-minute stroll from Holyrood Palace Park. The basic rooms feature a TV and tea and coffee making facilities. The rooms benefit from an en suite shower room. Ironing supplies are available upon request. The continantal breakfasts are served in the rooms in the evenings priority to next morning. No cooked breakfast Edinburgh city center is a 5-minute bus journey from the Drumorne. Home to the famous Edinburgh Castle, the historic city center also offers numerous shops, restaurants, and pubs. The Scottish Parliament is just 1 mile away. There are more than 7 golf courses surrounding Edinburgh, and Craigentinny Golf Course is 20 minutes’ walk from the guest house.

Very quiet little spot!

Perfecting situated.
Single bedroom with well equipped en suite, fridge and dolce gusto coffee machine.
Breakfast served in your bedroom is perfect.
Abe an amazing host and easy bus routes into central Edinburgh and east to Musselburgh

Excellent as always

This is the 2nd time we have visited this lovely guest house in Edinburgh and we would love to come back again very soon. The rooms are very comfortable and clean, the morning breakfast tray is excellent and the house is on a very convenient bus route into town however, the best thing about this place is Abe (the owner) who is a lovely guy and cannot do enough to make your stay a memorable one. He even posted some items we had mistakenly left in the room on to us and kindly took the time to make sure we got them back again.
Highly recommended and we hope to return soon

Comfortable Lodging Close to City Centre

Comfortable lodging and host, Abe, was very helpful with directions and bus routes. Conveniently located in a quiet area and an easy walk to downtown through Holyrood Park. Good breakfasts delivered to the room. Everything I needed for a visit to Edinburgh!

Great place for access toEdinburgh

We stayed hear for a gig at Queens Hall.The place is ran by a lovely man named Abe. We were in room 2. Very clean and spacious. Breakfast is lovely and brought to your room. Bus is right outside door into town. You can walk but it’s 30 mins. The only negative we could give this place is that their is no private parking . We had to park on adjacent street. This could be tricky if you were elderly or had mobility issues, as there is no parking outside property. Nice place though with great artwork on walls. Will definitely stay again.
