Spacious semi-detached house in Budapest (Pest-side)

I have stayed in that vacation rental (a semi-detached house with four rooms, a kitchen and two bathrooms) a long time ago (2006). The kitchen and the whole property is really well equipped you do not need too many stuff to bring if you stay there.
They had a great price for two people so we could use the whole huge vacation rental. It is large enough for 5-6 people however I would say a maximum of 5 people if you plan to stay for more weeks. We had free WIFI, cable tv and a big telly in the living room. They have air-condition in all rooms but we did not use it because it was not hot at all.
The landlady was very kind and helped us a lot. She made us Hungarian "palacsinta" (a kind of Hungarian sweet crepes) with house-made apricot jam which was delicious.
I would recommend that kind of accommodation for travellers staying longer in Budapest or travellers with a car because you need about 45 minutes to get to the downtown if you use the public tranportation (BKV). The location is also great for people interested in 16th, 14th, 17th and 10th districts of Budapest. Mogyorod, Csomor, Kistarcsa etc. are close as well.

Nem foglalhattam

Szerettem volna foglalni 4 éjszakára. A booking.com oldalon 37.000 forint volt, viszont készpénzben szerettem volna fizetni. Amikor felhivtam a szállást,néhány perc vacilálás után azt mondták oda adják ennyiért és ne foglaljam le online. Elindultam hát a szállásra, majd félúton visszahívott a nem is kedves hölgy, hogy el se induljak ők ennyiért nem adják ki az apartmant. Mondtam rendben a booking.com oldalan olcsòbb mint amit ők ajánlottak lefoglalom online. Amikor véglegesíteni akartam a foglalást nem sikerült mert "betelt"...

Buon appartamento

Buon appartamento nel distretto 16. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Gentilissimo lo staff (famiglia) ci ha accolto e accomodato con gentilezza e professionalità.
L'appartamento è grande con wifi gratuito e parcheggio (gratuito).
Consigliato.

Grünlage, günstig und schön

Dieses Appartement ist voll ausgestattet, Design ist freundlich, hochwertig und man kann im Garten frei parken. Die Küche ist überraschend hochwertig mit Geschirrspühlmaschine, Mikrowelle und Ofen. Ich hatte das Gefühl dass das Haus nicht für Vermieten gebaut wurde, weil dazu es zu viel kostete. Terrasse ist toll, der kleine Garten ist gepflegt, es gibt einen Spielplatz in der Nähe.
Falls man nicht mit dem Auto fährt kann länger bis dem Stadtzentrum fahren (habe einmal probiert, das war zirka 45-50 Minuten bis Heldenplatz). Mit dem Auto oder Taxi ist es ganz bequem, in der Richtung 14en Bezirk und dann Heldenplatz erreicht man in 12-15 Minuten viele Sehenswürdigkeiten (Zoo, Szécheny-Bad, Vajda-irgendwas Burg, Stadtpark). Interessant war, dass Taxi bis Budapest Zoo ist günstiger für drei Personen als die Öffis (viele Umsteigen, immer wieder neue Fahrkarte gebraucht).
Ich würde gerne mit Kollegen oder Familie wieder hier absteigen. Hungaroring und Aquapark in Mogyorod sind auch nicht entfernt von hier, aber wir hatten keine Zeit mehr.
