Very enjoyable base to explore Budapest

Very clean and well kept. Friendly helpful staff. I would rate above a Travel Inn or on a level of an Express by holiday Inn in the uk with that sort of feel and level of service. Also fully expecting us at reception for a middle of the night 1am check in due to flight times, straight in the hotel and to the Room with an efficient and friendly check in could not be better. Room comfortable with a range of channels in various languages including BBC news. Didn’t eat at the hotel only the restaurant they recommended 2 minutes walk away which was good value and enjoyed the food. The bar in the hotel was open when I passed, fridge mini bar in the room also with enough room for a few items from the shop leaving mini bar stock in place. Also supermarket and other eating places at a Mall 10/15 minutes walk away. About a 40 minute walk away from the River in more central Budapest, there are hills on route but did it every day no issues and was ok and felt safe in the evening to.

Great value for money

We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Mediterran. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast offered a good selection, and the hotel's location made it easy to get around Budapest. We especially appreciated the excellent value for money. We would happily stay here again and definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay in Budapest.

Great value hotel in Budapest

Perfect location with very convenient public transportation. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. Friendly staff.
