Good location, good value, nice room!
I stayed here for a weekend in August - picked the location as it was fairly close to the start of the Budapest Half Marathon. It was also very close to Liberty Bridge and well-connected by tram to Pest.
The suite was perfect for the weekend and the bed comfortable. The kitchen section was well-equipped - the only thing missing was a draining board to leaving dishes on after washing them. Access was easy with a 'phone number to open the door and keycode for internal doors. it worked smoothly. I'd stay here again.

Poor poor poor
Arrived as previously agreed and confirmed, used the over complicated system to access our room/suite as instructed to find our room occupied! Left in a hurry to a local cafe and rang the owner/ manager ( International call at my expense to Germany)
We were informed that we could check in to a different room for 2 out of our pre booked 4 days.
I stated this was not acceptable.
Was told they would work on it and ring back. I had to make 9 International calls as was not rung back once.
Was told we could have other room for the 4 days but it needed to be cleaned.
4 hours and another call with different access codes we attempted to gain access to room, the room was in the process of being cleaned. The cleaner was more helpful than the manager/ owner but she stated we could only have for 2 out of our 4 night .
The room is accessed by another code and can not be locked from the inside so in fear of another guest being allocated our " new room" the table had to be pushed in front of the door at night, a note place on the door when we were out , hoping no one had been allocated this room.
Room itself was clean but....
Tv didn't work ( reported to owner via message and ask details which was related to them but again no response.
Coffee machine spewed hot water onto surface and floor so unusable.
Toilet seat cracked so could not be sat on ....ouch.
Notice levels in building high as different usage throughout building mixed.
Outside noice from the street ok and location also ok.
Manager/owner did not call back once , or seem concerned that i was not happy with the situation.
Please also note that reviews on booking.com ( which I researched before booking were positive so lesson learnt cross reference with TripAdvisor .

( room was booked well over a month in advance)

Unbelievable
The only tip is location.
This place is unbelievable. It took us nearly a hour to find. Or we got what we had to ask for. Was how to get in. Eventually got in via front door. Someone opened it. As it is residential. Only a few apartments under Gellert. We had a code which gave us a fob. No.key on key ring. To get in front door. After nearly 2 hrs we sorted it. Via phoning a number which opened front door. Apartment cleaned good shower hardly any shower gel or coffee capsules for nepresso . I managed find cleaner. Who does not clean flat when there. She gave me some capsules & shower gel. Noisy road outside. Good air con. Location good. Near a spar cheap wine and bread for breakfast. It has a kettle toaster fridge towels. No.milk. toilet paper in apartment. Near Elizabeth Bridge and market.
Expensive apartment not worth the money. Be warned. Also a man called Patrick said he would meet us. He never did . We phoned him 3 times no answer . I loved budapest. Castle great and river boat cruise. Accommodation Unbelievable I would come budapest again. But No way to these apartments. We arrived on a Tuesday exhausted & hot. Patrick not there to welcome us. We are in late 70s very stressful. Do not come here.
