Great location, quiet street. We bought a tour for 2 for 1800€ for 10 days, a standard room in Melisa Kata Resort, when checking in we were moved to the Natalie guest hotel, located on the other side 2 minutes from Melisa, it is a completely different hotel with different rooms. We were moved into a one-bed room, explaining it was standard. But the standard implies both one and two beds. I asked to move us to a two-bed room and to the hotel we had booked, we were offered an extra 1,500 euros, for this service. In total, the roadside hotel should cost us more than 3,000€ for 10 days. We have accepted to stay in the hotel that is, the price of this valuable category of hotel is not justified. The guide tried to explain to us that it is a resort and it is a different buildingResort is being in the same territory with exactly the same rooms. And these are two completely different hotels. The hotel location is generally good, the cleaning is excellent. And so just keep in mind you book one thing and get the other.

All in all is well
Good location, pretty normal rooms. Nice wi fi, which is particularly pleasing. On the downside are breakfast menus that bore you. Eggs are fried, or scrambled, and they have a choice of sausages, ham, bacon. That comes with a plate of fruit. Same thing, all 10 days. Well, the New Year's table 2400 Butt (6200 on rubles), neither tea nor coffee served , asked for bread bite - requested 10 Butt, then asked for water, pill to drink - said- 30 Butt’”️. On her way out, she stopped at reception to weigh herself- 10 Buttes pay! Karoch, for every sneeze

Nice and pleasant hotel, for the first time in Thailand you can check in peacefully.
They chose to run away in the morning, come to bed in the evening. They chose three stars based on their budget. There were no critical downsides.
The hotel doesn't have an elevator, but it's not really needed, it's only 3 floors. There's a scale downstairs at the reception where you can weigh yourself or a suitcase for 10 baht.
No deposit at the hotel.
The DBL room, with balcony, lived on the third floor. Two bottles of water each, two towels each (shower, hands) and one foot. Every day the room is cleaned, not cleaned. That is, there is surface cleaning - make the bed, wipe the floor, add toilet paper, soap and shower utensils. If there are smokers, the ashtray is also cleaned. The bed linen was changed once in the 10 days of stay. Two bottles of water are brought in every day. It doesn't matter if you drink it or not, it's brought in daily. By the end of the holiday we had more than 10 bottles)))
The windows of the room overlooked another hotel, there was no noise, only screaming birds. There's a dryer on the balcony, but no attachments for things. In the morning, you'll find that something flew away... I recommend closing the balcony doors so that no insects come in.
Sockets – any type (A, B, C), no adapter needed, Russian type C comes in and works. If you have an adapter with "thin plugs" - the same thing.
The wi-fi is fine, but if you come to work for the computer, not very)))
Breakfast is served in the hotel cafe. Not a buffet, you choose from the menu. This cafe is open all day, you can have lunch and dinner there. If you're from a hotel, you get a small discount.
Right outside the Hotel 7-Eleven and it's very convenient if you want to eat at night. At the hotel parking, if you rent a bike - convenient to put it on the premises.

Melissa Kata - I recommend!
Relaxed at Melissa Kata Beach Hotel 10.05-19.05 2025, tour operator Anex. When booking the tour, it was possible to choose two categories of rooms in the main body (superior and deluxe). Standart rooms are in a building across the street. When placed, it was not clear how the different categories of rooms differ, they all look the same. The rooms are tired, of course, but this is a 3* hotel, and economy. Cleaning of the room is high quality and daily: change towels, change bed linen after a day, clean the floor, add shampoo, gel, soap, t. paper, remove garbage, put a bottle of drinking water. Wi-Fi catches on the property and within 100 meters. All the shortcomings of the room stock are compensated by very attentive hotel and cafe staff. Of course, one must be able to explain one's wishes in English. I would like to mention the massage parlour: I did a course with the masseuse Poo (English:Poa), she comes on call from reception. Costs are like everywhere else or a little cheaper, but Poo makes strong. I did a regular oil massage for 400W=12$ lasting 1 hour. I was satisfied with the rest. The hotel strongly recommends if you are not choosy.
