Social boost, lively place to stay

I came here for a simple restful night so I was probably not in the right frame of mind but the social space within the hostel was amazing. The street was noisy, on the other hand, and air ventilation limted so I found it tempting to keep the window open but could not for long because of the noise from the street.

My stay

The location was excellent near everything but the rooms were not as described plus poor bathroom and toilet

2 nights in Copenhagen

The price-performance ratio is perfectly fine.
Everything clean and tidy.
Very centrally located. Shopping opportunities directly across the street.
Pubs, bars, and restaurants are within walking distance.

nice place

Nice place for a tiny trip with one night sleep at this place. I was there with my son and 4 grandchildren. It was a bit diffecult to find but and no phonenumber to call. I will use that place agian if i go to copenhagen one day.

No aircon and noisy neighbourhood

There was no airconditioning in our room and this was a blazing hot day. Our room was on the 6th floor so the heat was even worse there. If we opened the windows at night to make the room cooler, there was a lot of noise and screaming from drunk people on the street. So we got very little sleep.

We do occasionally have warm summers, but in general we don't have airconditioning in our buildings here in Copenhagen. We are sorry to hear that the crowd in the street kept you up during the night. We are located in the centre of the city, and in the middle of all the vibrant and bustling city life. Due to this there is some noise to be expected. Our reception is open 24hours and we are here to help you out, so do come see us and perhaps we could have found you a quieter room, or complimentary earplugs.
