Stylish, Spacious and Perfectly Located
Unfussy mid-century design and décor give this hotel a distinctly 1960s feel, in a calming way. We spent two nights in the top-floor, corner, lakeside suite (#421), which may well be the best suite in the house.
The suite is spacious and thoughtfully laid out, with an open-plan living area, a large furnished balcony, two quiet and effective A/C units, a good-sized desk, and a dining table with 3 chairs. There’s also a comfortable sofa and two easy chairs. The modern marble bathroom is beautiful, with double sinks, but no bidet or washcloths. The walk-in shower has both a rain shower and handheld, although there is no door so you need to be careful to avoid water reaching the bathroom floor.
The walk-in closet is generously sized, with abundant storage throughout the suite. Electrical outlets are plentiful and well placed, including at both bedsides. The sophisticated lighting system is another thoughtful touch, with everything conveniently controlled from the bedside.
Breakfast offers an excellent selection of both savoury and sweet choices, including gluten-free options, with attractive indoor and outdoor dining areas. I'm pretty sure breakfast runs until 11 a.m., which is generous by European hotel standards.
The location is excellent: just a three-minute walk up a gentle slope from the lake and about 20 minutes on foot to the entrance of the fantastic castle overlooking the lake. Despite the central location and free musical entertainment just down the hill during the summer, it is wonderfully quiet at night. Also close to several restaurants, with 2 different boat transportation outfits to the island (one pletna row boat, one power boat) adjacent to each other and a 15 minute lake side walk away.
The combination of spacious, beautifully designed, bright rooms, thoughtful amenities, excellent breakfast and an ideal lakeside location makes this an easy hotel to recommend.

The person at the reception desk. No good
The gentleman at the reception desk was very unfriendly today. He behaved arrogantly and inappropriately.

Great location, clean rooms, amazing breakfast, superb amenities and very helpful staff. Had a very pleasant stay.

Two single beds what ?
Room was very good and meals, especially breakfast was excellent. One down side was that the bed was comprised of two singles which came apart through the night. It sort of destroyed the romantic vibe as the beds kept separating and it was difficult to sleep together or cuddle. I would definitely go for another place on this basis. Frankly, a romantic weekend away is destroyed when facilities frustrate the intent!

Hotel was in a fab location, close to the lake and right opposite the bus station
Perfect! As we travelled there by bus
My daughter had her wedding ceremony there and the staff were amazing
Our room was smaller than we anticipated but still adequate- very clean and the bed was comfortable
Front desk staff were very helpful and knowledgeable with any questions we put to them
Would definitely recommend and we are looking forward to returning again at some point in the future
