Prima accommodatie
Uitermate vriendelijk ontvangen door de eigenaar. Wij kregen de suite toegewezen. Mooie kamer met grote douche en een aparte kamer met bank en tv. Enig minpuntje is dat om de vijf minuten een vliegtuig laag overkomt. Na 22:00 uur echter niet meer, dus uitstekend geslapen. Kwartier lopen van het stadion van Fortuna Düsseldorf, wat voor ons ideaal was. Prima voor een of twee overnachtingen. Dorpje Lohausen stelt niet veel voor, maar met de metro ben je binnen twintig minuten in het centrum van Düsseldorf.

During a private event a room to the courtyard! Dear staff, but then also can not help ! Never again!

Not again
I award this hotel two stars.
Once at the hotel, you will find a large four-sided courtyard. Your own car still has to stay outside. Unlit windows and doors completely without signage or lighting force you to visit the company based there and ask for reception. There was only a telephone number on file. It picked up a lady who asked me why I was calling, because I had been sent an email describing where I could find the key. Sorry, with announced arrival by car and a ten-hour drive I am unfortunately unable to check my mails. Keys found and the room visited. There I stood in a small functional single bed room, but booked a large double room for single use. So called again said number, they will examine the process. After another ten minutes I finally stood in my booked room, nice bed, nice bathroom, for that there is the first star.
The hotel is under reconstruction. The entire main house including the rooms smelled of solvent and paint. Ventilation is not possible because at 30m altitude directly above the courtyard the planes fly in and cause considerable noise every 5 minutes. The side emergency exit was closed for construction work, through the main entrance it went only through a freshly painted door and crumpled painter ceilings. A life-threatening stumble in an emergency.
Breakfast was plentiful and fresh. For this there is the second star. However, the operators leave used dishes of the guests on the tables until the end, which disturbs the ambience.
The room is visited daily by a cleaner, but only the garbage is emptied but the bed is not made. Instead, the soap bar is replaced every day with a new one. In my opinion unnecessary.
Before leaving I asked several times for payment by debit card. This is not necessary, you have to get the device especially from the apartment on the first floor, you have the visa data, direct debit would be so much easier. Good, if they think so. After departure I received the information from booking that a debit was not possible. I contacted the hotel and asked for an invoice to transfer. After two weeks, I received a completely perplexed message that a lawyer had been hired, since I had not paid. A check on my part actually revealed an error in the Booking Referral, but I had not received any reminder letters and the legally required payment period under the German Civil Code had also not yet passed. That's not how you treat your guests.
In summary, I will not revisit this hotel for my annual visits to Düsseldorf. Two stars for breakfast and room. The behaviour of the operators and the odour and noise nuisance leave a few wishes unfulfilled at the price, which is nevertheless in the upper segment.

Unfriendly and unwelcoming
Room basic and noisy because of the airport. Staff not very welcoming or helpful . Breakfast basic and again unwelcoming. I felt I was in the way and being watched whilst I was eating. Tired to eat as quickly as I could ....very uncomfortable

Nicht zu empfehlen
Vorweg das Positive: das Doppelzimmer ist groß, sauber und ok. Einzelzimmer im Verhältnis klein.
Den Hof aber als Drei Stern Hotel zu bezeichnen ist eigenartig, eher als Pension oder Ferienwohnung.
Chefin nicht gerade als gastfreundlich zu bezeichnen, kurze Zimmereinweisung "da sind Ihre Zimmer", gleich wieder weg, kein WLAN Password, keine Infos. Im "Hotel" keine Stadtpläne, kein Informationsmaterial.
Der unvorstellbare Fluglärm ( alle Minuten ab 6 Uhr) ist in dieser Gegend anscheinend "normal", der Zimmerpreis ist für diesen Zustand dann absolut zu hoch.
