Simply impeccable!

Very warm, personable welcome, large, clean and airy rooms -- and the best breakfasts of our 10-day trip across France, Europe and the Czech Republic. :-)
We arrived on the day after our wedding and, immediately upon learning of the event, the hosts gave us two small bottles of champagne!

Comfortable place with nice people

Stayed there 13 nights during my business trip. Very comfortable and nice small family hotel.
Very clean and spacious room I stayed in Nr. 7. Tram stop is near the hotel.
10 min till Albert Platz and 15 till Karstadt Shopping Mall.
You can pay only in cash.

clean and comfortable

very worth the price. The owner is a kind couple but not speak english at all. Use local tram line 11 and stop at Angelikastrasse stop. The three Elbe Castles is 2 or 3 more stops from there. Albertplatz stop (same tram line) is also close. From there you can walk across the innere Neustadt, across Elbe River to Altstadt.

Wonderful Pension - Experience - Dresden

Just spent 5 wonderful days at Pension Angelika. It had large, clean rooms, and an excellent buffet breakfast with nice presentation. Location was ideal for us – it is outside of town but with easy access to town. It was within walking distance to a grocery store and the Waldschlosshen Brauhaus. Don’t miss the short stroll thru beautiful grounds to 3 castles. The bus stop is across the street and only 20 minutes to old-town Dresden. (My favorite town on a month long journey) Thus it has the best of two worlds – a lovely suburban location and easy access to town. The hosts were delightful, friendly and helpful. The only down-side was that their English was limited. But it is amazing what can be communicated with smiles and a good map for pointing out directions. I would highly recommend this pension.

Für 1 oder 2 Nächte annehmbar. Sehr weiche Matratzen.

Frühstück eher mau, alles etwas wenig und viel Verpacktes.
Verständigung mit Personal teilweise etwas schwierig, gebrochenes Deutsch. Freundlichkeit des Personals lässt zum Teil zu wünschen übrig, z.Bsp genervtes Geschnaufe, wenn man darum bittet, beim Bezahlen Geld zu wechseln. Man fühlt sich etwas abgefertigt und wenig willkommen.
Vorsicht - Matratzten sind sehr, sehr weich! Nichts für den Rücken! Ich war jeden Morgen um 5 Uhr wach, weil ich nicht mehr liegen konnte.
Zimmer sehr klein, kaum Ablagefläche, ans Fenster kam man nur heran, wenn man aufs Bett geklettert ist.
Straßenlärm ist nachts sehr zu hören.
Im Bad gibt es Handtücher und Fön.
Die Dusche hat einen hohen Einstieg und es gibt keine Mögichkeit, sich festzuhalten und in der Dusche ist es sehr glatt. Erhebliche Sturzgefahr.
Es gibt kostenloses WLAN und kostenlose Parkplätze.
Alles in Allem annehmbar für 1 oder 2 Nächte, aber nicht mehr.
