There are better ones
Located 5 minutes from the centre of Gothenburg, the hotel seems to be just ok: nothing outstanding, just a place to stay when visiting the city. Varied breakfast; no air-conditioning although the Internet states the opposite

Very nice hotel in an excellent location
Wonderful location near the train station, the Ullevi and many tram/bus lines. The interior spaces are great, breakfast area, bar, kids play room, game rooms, etc.. The room was very nice, the fold down bunk beds for kids were maybe a little on the small side if you have older kids, they're fine for younger ones. Very clean, a little bit of city noise in the mornings being right in the middle of the city of course.

Family room is tiny and expensive
Decent breakfast buffet but premium $$ to be close to Göteborg station. Family room is tiny for 4 pax and dust flew from the bunk beds. Shower divider had no rubber strip at bottom so water leaked everywhere. No kettle or mini fridge and safe didn’t work. Hskping is good tho.

Clean and comfortable hotel with perfect location
The hotel is perfectly located in relation to the train station. We got to check in two hours before, which we were very happy for after a long train trip :). We have been here before the dance was younger, and have had a good experience before and this time. The room was clean, with good beds, airy and comfortable on the 6th floor.
The breakfast had a wide range and everything was clean and nice. The only thing I could wish is that Scandic Sweden will be equally good at marking allergens in its menus and at breakfast. In Norway, everything is marked clearly. Everything was great ♥️

Beautiful, just a bit disappointing
The room and public areas are immaculate and beautifully appointed. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Our room overlooked the side street and COOP!
There was nothing practical about the room. There is nowhere to put your stuff. There was one draw between two of us, a hanging rail and a shelf above only. We were there for 4 days and had to live out of our suitcases.
Plus, there’s no kettle in the room. Nowhere to make a drink. Not even a small fridge or complimentary bottled water. There were small water glasses with chipped rims. Our saving grace was the COOP across the road which has everything.
We were on the 7th floor below the roof flags, which flap loudly in the wind, and are disturbed us during the night.
The bathroom is basic and the water pressure in the shower was poor. However, the underfloor heating was awesome!
Breakfast time is chaotic! You have to pre-book, but when you arrive, you have to fight to find a table and then fight your way through to get food and drinks. The hot food was often only tepid. However, there are lots of options and something for everyone. Just too many people for me!
