Cozy and authentic place

There is something peaceful and artistic about the place. The glass ceilings, the garden, everything is very thoughtfully prepared in case a guest would like to take a walk in the garden or feed the fish in the big aquarium. The 10min walk to the main attractions is an absolute plus and the entire place somehow matched the vibe of the location for me.
What is true of course: the guests have to arrive and to leave in the given timeframes as the house is inhabited by the family as well, although the owner reassured me that if we arrived slightly later he’d be around to welcome us anyways.
The breakfast was very fresh and simple and matched again the atmosphere as it was left at our door early in the morning.

gracious host but antiquated

for starter if you are using the app waze in order to locate this place coming from the upper normandy area of rouèn or equivalent, do NOT follow the last remaining route once you enter the city proper as waze will direct you to an enchanted forest which can be a daunting deja vu! stick to the rue claude monet locator from your starting point to be safest.
brkfst is very simple n limited inside an all purpose room; wifi password is extant; francois is a nice guy but the wife is interesting; bedroom leads to an unlocked adjoining bedroom of a child who is now an adult.
the walk to the house n garden of monet is not bad

Decent option for 1 night

Owner JF showed me around and told me he would leave me breakfast in the morning- which he did. It’s actually a small self contained apartment with a kitchen downstairs and bedroom/bathroom upstairs- nice and private.
Be aware it’s not the most central location in Giverny. I knew this in advance and thought it was ok as I like walking. But I didn’t expect that when I was walking back after dinner, around 21.30, that Giverny would be silent and deserted. As a solo female, I didn’t feel unsafe exactly but it was a bit unnerving. (I had thought about stopping for a drink on my way back to the accommodation but that wasn’t an issue- there was nowhere to stop!)

Rustic cottage in a great location

Nice little cottage with a patio, in the grounds of the owner’s house. Only 10-15 mins walk from Monet’s Gardens. Owner was very welcoming and friendly, and even gave us a lift to the station so we could visit Paris (50 min train journey).

Excelente

Excelente acomodação, muito grande e confortável.
Na realidade é um apartamento a parta do resto da casa, e muito aconchegante.
Cama e banheiro excelente, muito espaçosos.
indico essa acomodação.
Apesar de não ser exatamente perto dos jardins, 15 min caminhando, vale muito a pena.
