A Wonderful Stay
This is my second stay at Hotel Kalliste because I really like this hotel. It is a historic building dating back to 1864, with a unique and charming interior that reflects its heritage.
We stayed in a triple room for two people, and it was spacious and very comfortable.
The hotel is in a convenient location. It is only a 10-minute walk to the historic beach along one of Ajaccio’s historic streets. The ferry terminal, railway station, and bus stop are all nearby. It also takes only about 15 minutes by bus to reach a beautiful beach with white sand and crystal-clear turquoise water.
I would especially like to thank the staff. Everyone is friendly, approachable, and always willing to help. They are easy to communicate with and quickly resolve any questions or requests.
I would be happy to stay at Hotel Kalliste again.

Scam
We arrive on the day, impossible to find the parking lot, very poorly marked and always blocked by cars since it is a one-way street, the garage is on a slope (watch out for your cars) and there are unsanitary odors because there are water leaks, even though we pay for this parking, and I find the price extremely excessive!
We are informed that we had booked and paid since the day before, but no one tells us about it, so we wait until 2:00 PM, only for us to finally ask to come earlier and be told that the room had already been ready since the day before!
A very cold welcome from a certain Ms. Laurie, but she offers us breakfast for €12!!! We arrive in our room and we notice that it is a simple double room even though we called before our reservation to book a residence, and when we booked we also clicked on Residence and the site automatically redirects us to the hotel's site, we knew nothing about there supposedly being 2 sites since both are labeled Residence Hotel Kalliste! (beware, false advertising, scam). No solution found even though we were staying for 15 days! The showers leak, we had to wring out our towels the entire stay, cockroaches were present in the establishment, we were sick, the fan is noisy and almost fell on us, the shower and toilet pipes are connected, so they are extremely noisy!! The housekeeping was poorly done, the window remained open with our personal belongings exposed to theft. A closet that is not a closet, just 2 open shelves! A view of a dilapidated building, that is too much, stay away!

Very beautiful hotel.
Very beautiful hotel well located next to the train station and downtown.
Very nice dining area with exposed stone.

Good hotel but with improvements to make
The hotel is well located, close to the pedestrian street and bus stops. From the airport, take number 11, stop Abbatucci.
Our room was clean and very quiet with a balcony in the sun well appreciated, bedding was comfortable with a kettle with teas and coffees.
Salty and sweet at breakfast with Corsican products but lack of varied breads.
No soap to wash your hands for supposedly ecological reasons... I recommend putting shower gel in a cup, not sure it is more ecological but it goes very well
The shower leaks and floods the bathroom, it's known for a very long time but never repaired...you have to space the wall outside with two or three bath towels, not ecological but effective
No fridge or cabinet despite the room, too bad.
