Hotel Swing is a gem

Hotel Swing is a gem. About 5 to 10 mins from Krakow old town and taxis are very reasonable. The man made beach next to the hotel is a wonderful bonus especially on sunny days. The splash zone is a great way to cool off. I would have liked a pool outside or inside the hotel because it doesnt have one. Reason being is because there is a huge water park next door which is great but sometimes you dont want to go to a water park and would prefer to swim in the hotel and not have to leave it. There is a huge shopping centre next door as well. Three floors of shopping on rainy days. The hotel itself is spotless and modern. Reception were friendly and helpful. The room we booked was a triple room but it was a twin with a camp bed and it was very small when they put the camp bed into it so on the 2nd day we paid extra and got a suite as we were staying for a week and the room was absolutely amazing. It was huge and had a separate living space. The breakfast was your standard continental breakfast which was perfectly fine. I would definitely stay in The Swing again but in a suite.

Excellent service brilliant hotel. Bring your swimming costume as you get an hour in the leisure oool and fitness club included in the room rate

Clinical and unwelcoming

Stayed here over christmas as part of an organised tour. Very clinical and unwelcoming, in the middle of a commercial estate. Room was quite depressing and there was no comfortable seating area/lounge. Breakfast was ok, but the evening meals were dreadful, only one choice so a case of take it or leave it.!

Unhappy Xmas !

We stayed over Xmas as the main destination of a coach holiday.
As a Xmas holiday, the experience was abysmal. Dinner was served in an overlit room reminiscent of a conference hall with zero festive atmosphere. Staff were unwelcoming in general & the food of a poor standard with no choice @ dinner. There was nowhere to get any refreshments during the day.
Rooms were clean but poorly lit with very uncomfortable beds. Our room had peeling wallpaper, dirty net curtains & a broken lamp.
The location is good for parking but a long way from the historic centre.

Disappointed guest

We visited as part of a coach party over Christmas. Room was average but not cleaned thoroughly and the lighting in the room was not good. Meals were taken in a canteen style dining area with no atmosphere. While the breakfast buffets were good, the dinner buffets were extremely disappointing - no choice, no fresh vegetables or salad. The selection on Christmas Eve and Christmas day was unbelievably sparse and very much freezer to oven cuisine! Staff were typically young and uninterested, spending more time grouped in a corner chatting than being bothered with us as guests. There is no lounge area to sit and the only bar was inside the dining area. The spa area was closed for most of our stay. The hotel is situated on the outskirts of Krakow with nothing in the vicinity open for most of our stay. I was far from impressed with this hotel as a place to stay as part of a coach party over the festive period.
