Easy to Find Property-No Smart TV
It was beautiful and roomy in the old town. Super accessible when arriving at the main entrance of the old town plaza. Then entering the old town undergrown market. This entrance was always crowded due to the historical site. I easily found further access to the waterfront plaza with very few stairs for the remaining stay. Even the staircases to the room were the roomiest. The property looked brand new and spotless. The door code is a bit complicated so I thought the owner could just provide the procedure images via WhatsApp that would be sufficient (the video instruction would burn my cell-data that should not require). At the time I stay Oct 2023, only text instructions were provided. We spent a few minutes to figure out with the mentality that we were in the foreign county that confusion would happen. A next-door visitor arrived about 1 hr. after us. She spoke loudly and angrily on the phone to the owner because she could not figure it out. We came out to help her.
Room was decorative with excellent spot lighting. USB ports were available, which was a big plus. The bed was very comfortable and met the king size dimension. The refrigerator was the smallest in size, but it was the noisiest that I have ever seen. I stayed in three other apartments/studio during this trip. No other fridges made a loud noise at all. Smart TV was not available. Local channels were limited compared to the other places during my stay. I hope the owner will improve this area soon. The hotel rate was $345 USD for 3 night was the most that I spent during my trip to Dubronik, Split, Hvar, and Cavtat.
Good marketing but I rated only 4/5 for the inconvenience of the fridge noise, not many TV options, and the room fees of 10%-15% more than it should be by the end of October.

Great Location but…
A humanless reception area is never a good sign, particularly if you need an issue sorted, (we couldn’t activate the safekeeping boxes which by the way are tiny), you’ll have to go through a whole palaver of phone calls, emails, etc. As for the room, it was quaint but on the small side…worst of all, the constant noise outside all night well into the morning made for the lousiest of sleeps. Given how compact Split is, I would avoid staying smack bang in its centre if I ever do return to this charming if somewhat over-priced part of the world.

Terrible Experience
Terrible experience, first of all no one is there at the 'front desk', it is completely empty, there is no change of towels or bedsheets, they company itself does not accept calls and is very unresponsive, and there is no elevator whatsoever

Not a hotel
Booked 2 rooms for my family. Rooms were clean but very expensive for just the rooms- this is not a hotel. No one is at the property to speak to - only via booking.com. This was all self serve and considering the price of the rooms was disappointing.
We had to ensure we got food for breakfast but the room didn’t have any cutlery so could only get pastries. Also the mini frig was never cold enough to get our water cold so that was another added expense.
It was a great location but I probably would stay somewhere else next time.
Lastly- make sure you book a taxi that your confirmation suggests. Was charged 100 euros to get to the airport!!

Room in the center of Split in a former Roman palace.
Beautiful and spacious room with private shower and toilet. There is no physically available reception, but the helpdesk is easily accessible online. By online message you will receive the PIN code to enter the building, which room you will get and how you can enter the room via a procedure to obtain your card with which you can open the room door. Immediately reading carefully what and how to do will limit the number of attempts :). The working language is English. If you choose breakfast, you will have it at a different location, less than a 5-minute walk away
