The Stanley
Stanley Hotel sijaitsee kätevällä paikalla Ateenan keskustassa vain muutaman askeleen päässä Metaxourgeion metroasemalta. Hotellissa on kattouima-allas, 2 ravintolaa ja 2 baaria, joista toinen on kattotason ulkoilmabaari.

Extend city break
The Location is good. There is a metro stop outside the hotel which is so handy for getting about as is the stop off all 3 hop on bus providers.
The hotel itself is excellent. From the outside it may deceive you but once you go in you will be pleasantly surprised. The rooms are nicely appointed all be it they are a little smaller than expected but don’t think they don’t cater for all your needs.
The beds are super comfortable, the TV has a vast range of channels catering for all nationalities, there is free water , tea and coffee available as well each day.
The bathroom again smaller but well laid out. The shower is the star of the show , the water pressure is superb providing a very refreshing wake up when needed.
The surprise keeps giving when you go to the roof top where they have a superb roof pool and bar layout. The feel is calm and tranquil with a good luxurious feel from it.
The bar service and restaurant are excellent both on choice and quality caters for every need.the breakfast buffet was great with so much choice catering from cooked to Continental. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and work so hard each day to provide you with a superb experience.
At night there a fantastic views of the acropolis and sun sets. This is not my first time to Athens and based on other hotels I’ve stay in this is by far the bast all-round value in my opinion. Look forward to a return visit in the future.

Beautiful view with a FREEZING pool!
The stanely was great but here are a few positives and negatives:
Positives:
- The pool area was the best part of the hotel as it was peaceful and a cosy space to relax and calm down, the sun lounger beds were nice and comfy to sit on with comfortable pillows to rest your head on.
- The breakfast buffet had delicious food hot and cold there were little Greek pancakes and syrup there was a epic selection of spreads, the juices were very nice and there were two coffee and tea machines.
- A very good location because it was very close to the train station and a short walk to placa village a great place to eat with lots of delicious restaurants and great shops.
Negatives:
- On the stanley website it said that the pool was heated but when we got there the pool was freezing cold and really hard to get in to, we found that the mini fountains in the swimming pool were letting in luke warm water but they would come on at different times.
- If you booked breakfast included then if you woke up late then the food at the breakfast buffet would be cold and not fresh so you would have to have a cold breakfast.

The breakfast was really good. The rooftop bar was amazing and so was the food. I had access to the club lounge which I also really enjoyed. The pool and the pool area was great. BUT the weekends was a mess. It turned in to a real party hotel and I did not sleep till 5 in the morning due to a lot of noise in the hall, the rooms and on the balcony. The pool area is really crowded during the weekends and huge crowds make it very noisy. The staff was were really great and tried their best to keep it down but simply not possible. I would give some features 3 stars and other 5 stars. The overall experience is a 4 star rating but the partying was insane

Very nice place to stay
We were a company of 8 persons in a businestrip to Athens
We stayed at the Stanley Hotel and visited the roof top bar and got the most amaizing service at our table by the Queen Katerina, Sous maitre and we sure come back again
Highly recommended place, and ask for Katerina for excellent service
