This is a lovely little hotel, very friendly staff and set in beautiful grounds. It is an absolute bargain and comes with a wonderful breakfast as well.

Place is nice and beautiful, however, it seemed to me that there is a shortage of staff, therefore service level is not upto the mark.

Be ware folks. This is not a hotel. This is someone’s home and they are informally renting rooms to people. This is not an ideal
Place for a non-local. The location is away from everything. It’s actually a bit scary. The service was horrendous and its bother-line false advertising as the rooms shown in the pictures are extremely different from the real thing. The place was noisy in the morning either the staff are playing loud music or the gatemen are listening to their radios very loud in the morning and you can hear it in the room. The food they served us gave us food poisoning. It seems the meat has been frozen for a long time. The receptionist told us they will compensate me by giving us free breakfast because they didn’t have a room ready for us when we arrived but this never happened as they still charged me for lunch and gave me no breakfast. Also the check-in time they list on the website is inaccurate so dont arrive early thinking you will be checked in at 6am. The only good thing about this place is that they had a space heater, which was good due to the cold weather in Nairobi at the time. I will not recommend this place for anybody.

The house is very unique and the room is nice but very loud with guests above and construction next door. There does not seem to be any sound proofing. There either is no hot water for showers or the switch for it is not clear (no red light or no lable) and I never found it. There was not apool that I saw on the property. The dtaff is nice but I as lso had to ask for things like toilet paper which I thought would be provided and a late check in was not convenient. I messaged that I had a flight arriving late and would arrive close to midnight with coorespondace back that someone would be there when I arrived and it was kot a problem. When I arrived there was ko one other than the security guard and it took a while for him to get ahold of someone to get me a key to my room.
