Really excellent stay; a spectacular room and incredibly helpful and welcoming staff! Andrea was super easy to communicate with, and was flexible with my check in after a delayed flight. The room was so comfortable, and the bath and shower were next level!

Our FAVORITE stay in Catania! Extremely well kept property with clean rooms/bathrooms. We stayed here for 2 nights in 2 different rooms and couldn't be happier with the stay. The host was extremely responsive and helpful, we had a flight cancellation due to a volcanic eruption at Mt Etna, he allowed us to store our baggage at the hotel with no additional fees and was on call at all times. The rooms were newly renovated and smell AMAZING. Looking forward to coming back soon 😄

The room and the bathroom are modern. The airco is silent and very adequate, also because the room is small. We did not see any personel, response by app was quick.
The bathroom light has two operating possibilities. One with a switch, this one also turns on the fan which is quite noisy. The other light is operated by a sensor that works automatically. The only nasty thing is that it turns the light off after approx 5 seconds. Some movement switches it on again. Should be easy to fix.
On the balcony there are two chairs that can be used; especially in the evening when the sun is gone the place is great for relaxing. Apparently there is a non-controllable water pump behind the balcony that turns on occasionally making talking impossible. Closing the door keeps the noise effectively out though.

Facilities were comfortable, location was great, and the welcome/entry was outstanding. Host also gave us a great recommendations for other travel services. Only issue is that the wifi signal was very weak, and kept dropping. I brought up with the host, but did not get resolution. WiFi is very important for international travelers, as signal on home carriers is usually poor, so planning and email must be done in the evening.

L'hébergement Mènnula est très bien situé dans Catane et la propreté est irréprochable. L'accès autonome se fait sans problème et les hôtes sont particulièrement réactifs sur WhatsApp. Les petits balcons sont également appréciables.
Plusieurs défauts d'aménagement viennent toutefois impacter le séjour :
- La chambre est étroite. Dès que l'on voyage avec deux grandes valises, la circulation devient difficile malgré le coin bagage prévu.
- Sanitaires mal pensés : Le coin WC/lavabo est fermé par une porte style placard sans poignée intérieure, ce qui empêche de la fermer une fois à l'intérieur. De plus, il n'y a aucune tablette ni surface pour poser ses affaires (trousse de toilette, dentifrice, sa brosse à dents etc.)
- La climatisation fonctionne bien mais reste assez bruyante pour la nuit.
- Le jacuzzi, argument majeur de la chambre : Situé dans la pièce douche, l'équipement pose problème. Les instructions fournies ne sont pas claires. Après avoir dû réinitialiser le disjoncteur avec l'aide des hôtes, des résidus noirs sont sortis des tuyaux au démarrage. Les bulles restent très faibles, ce qui donne une impression de gadget mal entretenu. In fine, nous n'avons pas réussi à le faire fonctionner correctement, l'appareil s'éteignant toujours après de courtes minutes d'utilisation. Il a l'air assez gadget, c'est dommage.
Un hébergement qui reste correct pour sa localisation et sa propreté, mais qui déçoit sur le confort pratique et les prestations annoncées.
