Recommended!
I just stayed at this B&B, and my friend and I had a great time! The room is clean, and Mrs. Daniela is courteous and easygoing, ready to respond to any need. The place is well-maintained, and there is currently work in progress (no noise, don't worry!) for the installation of an elevator and the removal of architectural barriers for disabled people at the entrance. These works I am telling you about are completed, let's just say they are still to be finalized. The elevator was not yet working when we arrived, but the B&B is on the first floor, so it was not a problem. You will also be close to the bus stops to go to the center or to the beaches, and to the supermarkets. In addition, it is very quiet, and you will have a fridge/freezer available in the kitchenette.

Uncomfortable
Uncomfortable beds and check out, poor breakfast, thin walls, the only positive is the location and the good working AC. It has to be improved a lot in the future. If you want to have a weak quality or you just care about the distance of the beach than it is just fine.

Short notice stay
Phoned and got a room for the same day
Room was clean, and had A/c , en suite
Breakfast was continental , the atmosphere in the small dining area very relaxed and friendly
Good value for money

Coral Rubrum experience
B&B Coral Rubrum it’s a modern apartement with 4 bedrooms, a lobby and an open space kitchen. Each room has it’s own bathroom and balcony. The owners are always smiling and are personally involved, they prepare the breakfast and clean the rooms every morning and the place is very clean and everything is methodically placed.
The location is very close to a bus station from where you can take the bus to aeroport (1 one-way tichet is1,5 euro/person if you buy the tichet from the driver) and at 5 minutes walk from 2 supermarkets. Also close is Lido Beach, but not far away is a more beautiful Beach (Maria Pia) and if you have time, take a public bus to see Stintino Beach. You have to walk 2 km to have dinner in old town and you will be rather disappointed because many restaurants in Alghero serve frozen or pre-cooked food. I recommend fresh fish or steak, the best pizza is the one bought at slice, I think ice cream is very good everywhere in Italy and Crema Catalana is a must have.
Back to accommodation ... the breakfast was too simple for us (nothing cooked, no vegetables, small portions), the special table to dry our laundry was a plus, a shower gel would have been nice, the window shutters and the good air conditioning were useful and it was very unpleasant that we could hear every noise from inside and outside the room.

Le cose da dire sono abbastanza...
Partiamo dalla posizione:Non è a dieci minuti dal centro ma almeno venti/venticinque minuti. vorrei sapere chi scrive le recensioni...
All'arrivo non è mai presente il titolare della struttura nota alquanto dolente per una serie di cose... l'ospitalità per chi arriva da un altro paese è fondamentale!
Un sorriso e qualche informazione fanno davvero la differenza.
Inoltre,al di là del messaggio per poter ritirare le chiavi,le informazioni per la colazione(NON PRESENTE E QUINDI NON DEFINIBILE B&B) sono state chieste ai vicini di camera. Ora,sicuramente la zona comune della cucina si presenta pulita, con tutto l'indispensabile per porter cucinare, fare lavatrici, ombrellone a disposizione, piccola ma graziosa veranda, frigo in comune ecc...
Ma se nn c fosse stato nessuno?
La camera si presenta con arredamenti datati, un piccolo inconveniente sulla pulizia che c tengo a precisare può capitare e che tramite messaggio la proprietaria è stata più che gentile tanto da lasciare qualche capsula d caffe che tuttora ringrazio però in questo settore pulizia, recensioni e informazioni corrette e presenza del titolare stesso, sono fondamentali.
Aggiungerei qualche prodotto da bagno in più... perché per 4 gg sono pochi quelli lasciati.. .
Tutto sommato per qualche notte lo consigliamo però migliorare qualcosa lo renderebbe sicuramente più carino.
Ci tengo a precisare che questa è un recensione personale e che la proprietaria nonostante non ci sia stata l'occasione di incontrarci al telefono è sempre reperibile.
