Adequate stay. Helpful staff but spoilt only by the cockroaches, and the noisy road and mosque.

I loved the hospitality and helpfulness of the staff and especially the manager. The manager was extremely helpful in ordering me a Tuk Tuk for my pick up from the train station. Also, he arranged my daily drop off and pick up to and from Marina Beach.
I accept that I was in the city centre and the hustle, bustle and noise was to be expected. I should have conducted my research a lettle better though as I was directly across from the mosque. The loudspeakers calling to pray was heard three times a day, hence my daily visits to the beach.
The breakfast and inclusive lunch or dinner was tasty and adequate. However, I did'nt enjoy eating my breakfast in my already cramped room. I was not given the option to eat in the restrauant.
The owner / manager has tried to modernise the place. However, far greater attention is urgently required to health and cleandiness issues. I cockroaches in my room and on occasions in the restrauant. This major criticism really spoilt my stay.

Zero cleanliness. Bed sheet, pillow covers even blinds was so dirty and full of stains. Bathroom did not have tissue paper, had to request them. The bucket and jug were so dirty. Hair clogging the bathroom. Room had foul smell.

Not trustworthy

We stayed here just for a day.
When tried to book over phone the management demanded ₹ 1000 deposit which was paid through Google Pay.
When we arrived the reception staff will not accept that they received the payment and had to go on arguing and finally said all O K.
When we were checking out later in the day the same issue was brought up by another reception staff. He was insisting to pay the money again.
We told them we will send the Google Pay screen shot when we get back home.
At last we had to leave to leave in a rush unhappily as our train time was nearing.
The rooms quality was average.
I will not stay here again

Not a good experience even for a one night stop over stay

The rooms were musty when we entered and the sheets were soiled. When asked for a replacement, they said that it was not possible. In one of the rooms that we booked, there was a leaking pipe from the AC right into the bathroom and it was dripping all the time. Again, they refused to fix this as well. We expected a buffet breakfast but they said that only in-room service is available with choice of only 1-2 options. We ended up eating at the nearby A2B. I would not come here again.
