The hotel is convenient to many restaurants, bakeries and stores. The metro is close and there is an abundance of cabs and buses to take you everywhere. The hotel is within walking distance to most historic sites. It is a tremendous adventure to walk places. The locals fill the streets and open-air, sidewalk cafes are places to gather for a meal, coffee, or a glass of wine.

Barcelona in very well located hotel with exceptional breakfast

Hotel catalonia diagonal centre, is very well located in the central area of Barcelona, with many shops, restaurants and markets (with everything that is necessary, mineral water, soft drinks, ready salads, cold sandwiches and even one of these markets has fresh Japanese food, assembled virtually on time), which allow a great economy.
It has meat and pasta/pizza restaurants less than 200 meters away.
The diagonal metro station is at the corner (200 meters from the hole), access to L3, L5, L6 and L7 lines
Line L5 vc accesses the Sagrada Familia Station.
The breakfast is very complete, with various types of bread, sweets, fruits, eggs (fried, baked and mixed).
The staff of the reception very attentive and polite.
Super recommend if you want to make the city of Barcelona on foot and with the use of metro/bus.

Excellent hotel!

The hotel is very clean at all times. The breakfast variety is very good and the breakfast hall was generally quiet and we could always find a table for four. The room was very comfortable. The location is unmatched

Comfortable and great location for city visit.

Nice central hotel yards from metro. Clean and all amenities, but very noisy if you get an external room and the internal rooms have a balcony but literally only good to smoke on. Enclosed no view and super smelly of cigarettes

Thank you for your detailed feedback. We’re glad to hear you appreciated our central location and found the hotel clean and well-equipped for your stay.
We’re sorry to learn that noise levels affected your experience in the external room. Due to our prime city-center setting, street activity can sometimes be noticeable. For future visits, we would be happy to recommend quieter interior rooms or explore options that better match your preferences.
We also appreciate your comments regarding the balcony and the smell of cigarettes. We understand how important a pleasant environment is, and we will review this with our team to improve the experience for guests staying in these rooms.
Your feedback is very valuable to us, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again and provide a stay that fully meets your expectations.
